Why do people refer to the Namikaze name as fodder? The only known Namikaze is Minato and he is far from fodder. Minato Namikaze was the fourth hokage and was hailed as a true genius, his nickname "Yellow Flash" was well earned. Minato was the only ninja that people had "Flee on Sight" orders, ain't nothing fodder about Naruto's blood. Namikaze = Boss.

I have not yet seen the Namikaze name being called fodder. However, it does not really matter since it is not a clan anyways. I suppose it just represents Minato.

People keep saying Naruto half fodder and his children are 25% fodder due to Namikaze genes, I just laugh at their stupidity. XD

We know nothing of the Namikaze or if its even a clan, only that Minato is one. So naturally we base are opinion on him.

Well he was stabbed by Kyuubi and performed sealing jutsu (giving up his soul), it makes sense he would render immobile. I believe he would be able to handle kyuubi if he were alive, but not without side effects. Still his genetics isn't bad I would say.
