Kishi stated so many times, one person can't accomplish much. Sasuke was getting converted into teamwork in part 1, that's why he left. Heck even sasuke needed some types of teamwork
That's what make it even worse. Naruto is no where near as smart as Sasuke when it come to battle tactics. Throughout this whole war arc, you clearly see how somebody gotta be the brain for Naruto and you clearly see how Sasuke able to use his own brain in fights.

1. Sasuke don't have sage mode, so it would never cross his mind.
2. Everybody chakra is connected at that moment, so it was a good idea to test it out.
3. shadow clones jutsu. OMFG, if anybody else could spam shadow clones like Naruto....shit...I don't see any reason why you would lost a fight
