It's an one shot manga so it's only like 50-60 pages if i remember correctly.
Not sure, i like HxH story, explanation of skills, and the fine details that kishi often ignores or forgets. Although kishi has more characters and chapters done/developed while togashi has a small selection (mainly gon and killua with a sprinkle of others throughout). From what part togashi has done it is good quality (slightly bad art work at times but meh).

Agreed, the only thing I don't really like is the art style of HxH. Other than that it really shits on Naruto in every possible way.
- great strategic fights
- unique and unpredictable storyline
- great character development (Gon >>>>>>>> Naruto)
- no asspulls/plotholes or stuff like that
etc.
Especially the 2011 anime >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the Naruto/Shippuden anime.
I really hope I'll live to see the day when Togashi finished the story but I highly doubt that'll ever happen.

Are you serious? The dude has a problem with his back for a long time and the reason why we even went through this recent hiatus was because of his back surgery. It was inevitable, even during the days of YYH he had problems with his back:

I think you're confusing HxH's potential with YYH. If you were talking about YYH, I would of agreed since that was the series that he ended on his own selfishness.

HxH story is beautifully constructed with tons of potential for every single character. Spiders > Akatski.
I think what I enjoy most about it is that when Nen user fights its anyone game. Theres so much strategy that goes into a fight and how well you use your abilities. Naruto started off like that but then it just became DBZ (not naruto) with way to many powerups left and right.
HxH story is amazing. The anime of 2011 really showcases that.
Its sad to see the Hiatus left and right but its worth the wait in my opinion.
If it was consisted it'd be ranked up there right now competing with the likes of One piece.

Such comparisons are really silly seeing each mangka has his strength and weaknesses. And your wording is poor and disrespectful to the other manga and it's writer for no other reason than you finding something else to take interest in. I will give you a short list why-
If you compare Naruto manga with Hunter x Hunter, the problem with art is not limited to how characters are drawn but how Togashi avoids drawing. The problem of Show Vs tell. He uses many more words to narrate his story and explain the actions of character instead of showing it with his art work like Oda or Kishi do. He fails at conveying it using his drawings. He is too old to improve his drawing at his age now.
Last volume irked many loyal fans when they bought the volume only to find the raw drawings making it's way to the volume too. Togashi who redrew the rough drawing in manga for volumes hadn't done this time.
About the story and character part-The spiders looked impressive- the series started before Naruto and we still do not know much about Spiders because they were never expanded beyond their techniques. And there is a little chance of us finding out about their story or their goals beyond being bandits for hire seeing the situation.
It's an unfinished series which is likely to remain unfinished. There was a news some time back that stores in Japan already labelled the series as a finished one. We can throw a party and congratulate each other if we get to see it end properly. As of now Hunter x Hunter is a manga for which the writer seems to have lost all motivation to work on.
Kishi at least finished his work and entertained us on weekly basis for some 15 years. It was never a ground breaking manga but it has interesting elements of it's own and was a fun read. I don't see hunter x Hunter making so many big communities surrounding it. What Hunter x Hunter fans talk about mostly are about how Naruto is so bad and when they will be seeing new chapter.
Now list me name of the 10 mangkas who are so spoiled and get this much of freedom to take such long breaks instead of having to timely hand in the next chapters and can still keep a place for them reserved in WSJ?
I have read enough about his back problem. How recent was his recent surgery? I tried to find something on it but I see only old posts about it.
But that's why he needs to find another way and hire some assistants ( other than his wife). His excuse like-" I don't clean or bathe because I am a perfectionist and cannot do things halfway and for the same reason cannot finish the story either" is not really that impressive. And if he has back problems it goes double for it. He is a grown man, not a teen. He should have coped with it or find some help. He would if he didn't have so much money already to be able to put up such airs.

I would imagine the recovery process for him to be able to draw again will be long. Iirc a few months back he wrote a review for a shojo series but personally I don't think that's enough to say he'll come back soon since the back pain is getting in the way of him drawing completely. He already said drawing himself helps with relieving stress.
He's stubborn lol.

Kurapikas avenge is more interesting and he is thousand times bettter than Sasuke also Killua deserves more respect than Sasuke

Gon has a much better character development than Naruto 100%
The Arcs of Hunter x Hunter are well done also the villains are well done
Still i actually enjoyed Naruto until the Final War Arc Obit Uchiha and Kaguya as Villains made me dislike the series for a while Madara was still interesting but wasted Kabuto was also much more interesting than Obito anyway
After watching the Yorknew City Arc and the Chimera Ant Arc i was so impressed by the series Togashi is a great write but the hiatus is annoying

HxH is obviosly far better than Naruto. I remember when i first watched it, i was afraid that the whole anime will turn into a chase for Gon to get Killua back, but thankfully things turned out great. IMO Killua and Gon >>> Naruto and Sasuke
Pretty bad comparision, because you used the worst looking moment from that episode, and the best looking moment from the fan animation. IMO people are way too disrespectful to ep.167, to me it was one of the best episodes, and for sure the best action packed episode with superb animation.

I still prefer naruto. It's just that the characters are alot more memorable to me. I do wish hxh gets finished tho.
