"Uchiha Sarada: Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter, has already activated her Sharingan."
"Sasuke and Sakura's daughter" doesn't automatically imply that she is Sakura's biological daughter. Sakura raised Sarada her whole life. Sarada hasn't even met Karin. Of course the scan is going to say Sakura's and not Karin's.
My former biology teacher adopted a kid. That is still my former biology teacher's son whether he is the biological father or not.
What is obvious though is that Karin has no place in this plot from this point forward other than a brief mention.
Everything left will be defeating the Shins, SS, and probably the leading towards the movie.(Chuunin exams) :bdpf:
For Karin to be the biological mother and to not even meet with Sarada sounds ridiculous
I think Kishi is just using Karin as a way to incite drama in the series. Maybe she will make an appearance. Kishi is a troll but he is not the type to go back when he gives a big troll. For example the BZ and Madara thing.
This thread needs to be closed as it has exceeded Versuvio's 350 post per thread rule. :bdpf:
That's looking beyond the official words and coming up with your own head canon.
If it states that she is Sakura's daughter, then she is her daughter by all means including biologically. Unless we hear otherwise from Sasuke and Sakura themselves, Sakura is the biological mother. These new descriptions (old ones as well) and the last 2 chapters are clearly exposing this red herring. :lol
It is not going beyond official words.
For one, the official manga already stated Karin to be the biological mother. Secondly, someone's adopted child is still their child. Therefore, it would still say that Sarada is the child of Sasuke and Sakura. Thirdly, Kishi usually likes to teach some lesson or moral. The lesson here is, blood doesn't make a family. Love makes a family. Therefore the end game should ultimately be Sarada coming to learn and accept this concept despite Karin being her biological mother. What would be the point of establishing this concept if Kishi did not actually apply it to his character?
If Sakura turns out to be the mother then the theme of love > blood gets rendered useless, and the family drama would have been a waste of time since we had already been put under the impression that Sakura was the mother since chapter 700.
What is obvious though is that Karin has no place in this plot from this point forward other than a brief mention.
