They ruined the manga -.- Their story does not make sense, their powers are horrible that make it look like this manga Dragon Ball.

Kaguya is the worst character in the history that ruined the end of the manga....

I miss the REAL manga, no insipid characters and power up :| I do not think I'll watch the new movie.

Hagoromo Otsutsuki was a legendary Shinobi and all talked about him,Hamura could've been a legend but Kishi ignored Neji and the Hyuga story...

Edit:Remember the debates about the Sage of 6 paths when ppl didn't know about him?
I believe Kaguya shouldn't have ever existed,only the sage and Hamura!
But Obito ruined way more the story of Uchiha than Kaguya could've ever done...

They did ruin the manga for me because their backstory was thrown in slapdash besides Hagoromo and Kaguya no having a personality completely ruined the Otosutsuki image for me.

Overall they were necessary to explain the plot, bit I wil agree I wish Kishi had handled them differently. Their introduction was rushed and then all of a sudden they are a main big part of the story, like calm down, go back to your own planet!

Uchiha Senju and Uzumaki are Ootsutsuki no matter how you look at it so I don't see why OP is saying they suck. Sure the Kaguya Arc was terrible but that's because the manga was rushed, it had nothing to do with the power-ups.

Replace the Uchiha Wank in the manga with more build up to the Ootsuki and the clans that spin out from them; Uzumaki, Senju, Hyuga, Kaguya and Uchiha, and then the Ootsuki reveal would've been better.

But Kaguya Kishi had to mention it before. These aliens do not make sense. Poor management. Moreover we should have answers in the manga now concluded, not movie and spin off....

Truth.

OT: Intruduction of Ootsutsuki have a lot of common with intruduction of sayians, elite alien warrior who are just stronger by nature then humans. One can argue that goku was the sayian from the begining but yet we need to wait more then 150 episodes to discover that.

The same can be said about Naruto and Sasuke, Kishi making them reincarnation of Ashura and Indra, Hagoromo's childs made them like Ootsutsuki, just repeating same move which Akira did. It was basically rip-off dbz sayians race.

However in opposite to sayians race, Ootsutsuki recieved even more poor development which make people angry. There is also repeating use of them as villains to keep having threat in new movies.

As Shin would say: Evolution of the manga happened.

EDIT: I can guess you are fan of Itachi after your nick. What about Yata and Totsuka to be honest their hype also destroyed Naruto for me, so you think it was alright ?

Intrudction of these weapons just forced plot to keep introducing more powerfull characters... The hype in databook was supposed to have meaning...

Anyway Hagoromo alone was fine.
