Idk about that one. 4th Shinobi War sucked and now Naruto is all about the pairing wars, which makes it bad. DB series has never done that.

Read back at your comments. I don't want to indulge you in a Naruto vs DB debate. I have put examples to back up what kishi stated himself - Akira's 30 year old manga being his influence behind naruto. If you think db is shit take it else where. Those are examples. If you think those techniques are shitty and everything in NV is better, great. Another thread though.

It's mangaFox. I get better scans from there. I keep wanting to revisit it but as with many times I can't be motivated enough. And yes of course I like Naruto a lot. And I can see DBZ has its weaknesses. But it's survived with me all this time time.

I haven't finished hunter x hunter. Where can I watch the 2011 adaption in good resolution?

One or two may be generic. Show me a manga from 30 years ago that has every one of these? Akira has been praised for his originality by all those who came after him. No one is immune to influence. And influence isn't a bad thing. But show the man some credit.

Bastard! First chapter was published in 88. Dragonball had already been running for 2 whole years by then. For example the kamehameha wave was introduced very early on in the manga. Volume 2 of the DB manga was already underway with the energy beams before Bastard! Even published chapter 1.

As I said before no mangeka is immune to influence but you will find Toriyama to be as inventive as they get.
