She's not shown much on panel, but when she is shown, I like seeing the way she presents herself and her interaction with her teammates, especially with Suigetsu. I like her flirtatious desire to be with Sasuke because it makes her have her own personality. She isn't always like this though. Sometimes she will take a little hit on Sasuke and talk about him, but at the end she will go back to flirting with him. That's why I find her funny.
We don't know the specifics about the Uzumaki clan, but it was good to hear that she came from that clan, and being able to aquire a justu that only they have was cool.
Her character design is great. It matches her character and it brings a more 'naughty secretary look' or one that is in control of what she wants. I like her hair and her eyes. Her glasses fit so well with her creation too.
Her life living with Orochimaru - well I always liked people who were under Orochimaru for some reason like Kimimaro and Tayuya. It just seemed like those type of people had a way of doing things themselves without having to be under some political village. Karin goes under that category too.
I like her because she is alone, doesn't have any family, clan was destroyed, but can still act the way she does. I like her because she is very loyal to team Taka when they were formed. She cared about Suigetsu and Jugo and even questioned Sasuke turn to darkness. At one moment she DID get over him, but we should expect that our lady Karin would not get over Sasuke.
The reasons why I like Karin more than Sakura is because Karin never disrespected orphans.
>Karin's character is not serious so when she "flirts" or get "obssessed" with Sasuke it is to be expected unlike Sakura who feels she should be in love with him even after 3 killing attempts.
>Karin seems to handle her character a lot better than Sakura. For someone who still has parents like Sakura, I don't think she has the right to be sad when Karin herself was always alone.
> Karin never tried to kill Sasuke which is something I find loyal. Even if Sasuke was turned to darkness, it was because Karin went with what Sasuke wanted to the very end is why she didn't try to kill him + she never had the power to even stop him so she was being smart about her life. The most she could do was question him about his actions.
> Karin doesn't cry like Sakura does. Hell, even when she got stabbed by Sasuke I don't remember her crying. This proves that Karin is a tough woman who doesn't cry at stupid moments even faced with death.
All together, when I see Karin written on panel, she makes me laugh, she has an enjoyable side to her, her characterization is classy and amazing.

I've said this once and I'll say it again Sakura's love for Sasuke is different what she wants is to be the family he never had. You honestly thought she would take all that pain and abuse for nothing.

Sakura has bad mouthed Sasuke on some occasions.

That said, here's my take on her love for Sasuke and their relationship: It started off as nothing more than a school girl crush, the same as Ino, the same as all the other girls in the academy that had a crush on him. But being put on his squad changed things. Sakura, similar to Naruto, saw all the pain surrounding him, and wanted to help him. In Naruto trying to help Sasuke, they became like brothers. With Sakura's attempts, her natural crush turned to love. He was no longer just some cool attractive dude, he was a proper person that she respected and wanted to help and look after. I think you can just about see this development through the manga and anime, but due to Kishi being a sort of bad writer in this department, it's hard to pick up. I totally get why people only see a stupid school girl crush and nothing more. But I think Sakura's relationship with Sasuke goes a lot deeper. Far deeper than Karin or Ino's... like, that's so obviously just one sided crushing in my opinion, with Sakura and Sasuke you get limited but actual interaction.
So her love is similar to that of Naruto's platonic undying love for Sasuke. They both were drawn to his loneliness and wanted to 'save' him, though Sakura fell in love with him, and Naruto, evidentially being a heterosexual dude, loved him as a brother. Once you understand that, her undying love isn't that strange. Naruto loved Sasuke despite all his crimes and trying to kill him and stuff, and so did Sakura.
Unlike Sakura Karin is hot enough to make a baby with her beloved husband. Maybe when Sakura gets that kinda feat you should be typing about her beauty.

I'm pretty sure the op asked why we like Karin and why we favor Karin more than Sakura, but here we are, over here, with the same old stupid shit, with the same old illogical lunatic trying to counter anything that has something to go against Sakura. How shameful that people can be this insecure.
For one, you think just because you say something that it is supposed to be true?
And second, you think just because you try to repeat it again that I am supposed to give a damn?
It was never love, and that's your first mistake. Stop calling it love. It is not love. It is unexplained mental affiliation for someone who never had the right to be loved in the first place.
And what exactly does she know about his family? What does she know about his life? What feelings can she share that can help her to understand Sasuke?
Like I said in my previous post, she is mental and sick. He did nothing for her to even justify why she is doing this. She has no reason for her supposed "love" and she never did. Kakashi even explained that she doesn't need a reason to love him. I wonder what kind of crap writing is that? So now we don't need a reason to love someone even after they treat me like shit for the entire time I have been trying to be with them? Get real. At this point you look even worse than her. Trying to explain in a failing way that Sakura has a reason to save him? You must be out of your mind if you believe that Sakura has a good reason for anything that involves Sasuke.
Come again when Kishimoto can give us a sensible reason for why she "loves" him. Yes, I even put quotation marks around the word "love" since you seem to be oblivious to it's meaning and what it is actually supposed to represent.
Oh yes, lets all just pretend like she is just saving Sasuke because she has no ultimate motive or any type of extra obsessed feelings for him.

She is crying, breaking down and in tears and is claiming her resolve of her supposed "shitty love" and you want to claim that she just wants to save him for no reason? Obviously she has a reason. She can't get over how much Sasuke has changed nor can she escape the fact that she is blindly falling for someone that showed her no type of feelings prior to chapter 699.
Ohh, but it's all okay and done once he gives a little apology and a forehead poke. Then she is immediately blushing like a typical fangirl and even volunteers to drop everything and go with him. Yes, what a very intelligent young lady we have here.
If you haven't noticed, part 1 is the basis of the manga and is where everything developed into Shippuden, but I guess you wouldn't know that since you can't even comprehend a thirsty teenage girl stupidly falling for a boy that showed no type of care back.
You also seem to be worried by the fact that I am using part 1 scans when Shippuden is much worse in comparison. Are you upset because I have scans that can destroy your pitiful logic and make you look like a fool in the end?
In the middle of a war and in front of a God figure like Madara, what better thing to do than to start thinking about a boy not caring about me. How wonderful.
And I'll also leave this here and remind your pathetic ass why Sakura decided to be nicer to Naruto in the first place:

Good job Sakura. Now that your "Sasuke kun" told you to stfu now you are well aware of how stupid you sounded and now you are going to act nicer to Naruto. Well done Sasuke. At least you have some power when it comes to changing Sakura and how she acts.

I don't care about your retarded explanation or "excuses" on why she "loves" him. She never had a reason for loving him other than how he looked and how he acted, which by itself is stupid considering that he acted like a total asshat for the entire series, but lets all disregard that on some meager 16 year old girl hormone stage and act like it is something to be proud about.
If Kishimoto has to make up some stupid answer that she doesn't need a reason then that only means that he doesn't even have a reason and he already knew that he made this pairing shit the moment is started.
And truth be told, your whole post is completely irrelevant anyway, as it's just a way for pathetic fans like yourself to persuade them to like Ssakura more when that is never going to happen. I like Karin for good reasons and your asinine comments aren't going to change that.
i don't really see how Karin has any more dimensions to her character than Sakura does. They're basically the same person, but Karin gets away with things Sakura doesn't because of her being an Uzumaki. Sakura gets called useless, but the manga shows her doing a lot more than just getting bit and getting off on it. She's not even funny to me.
shes just comic relief for me. i dont take the character seriously heck from the way she acts i think kishi doesnt want most to take her seriously. nothing substantial.
One big difference between Karin and Sakura is Karin's background in comparison to Sakura. Karin's entire village was burned to the ground and every villager murdered, including her family. As the sole survivor, who knows how long she wandered around before Orochimaru found her and took her in. He's the worst possible person to provide with a sense of purpse and identity, but he does. He groomed her from a young child, and of course she clings to the perceived generosity, being too young or naive to know any better. She was subjected to experimentation and all manners of cruel and painful shit. She grew up in Orochimaru's labs, being subjected to all manner of depraved behavior and sights. Perhaps, in this way, seeing Sasuke's smile again may have reminded her of some sort of light, probably one of the few true acts of kindness she can remember receiving. So yeah, Karin's horny and aggresive, but considering the way she grew up, I think "I just wanted to see you smile again" is a pretty rare kindness and humanity for one to still possess.
Meanwhile, we have Sakura. Both parents alive and loving. Multitudes of friends. One of her friend's only desire in their friendship was to see her truly blossom and reach her fullest potential. Two of her friends, as well as her first friend, are willing to die for her. Had a normal, trauma free childhood. Has people constantly trying to protect her. Trained by two legendary ninjas. Lives in one of the strongest villages surrounded by people who care about each other. She has and had more than 95% of the characters in this manga, and she displays less backbone, self esteem, and substance than a side character who had virtually none of the things she was blessed to have in her life. My point being that Karin's depravity can be understood through her depraved upbringing. Its not an excuse, but we don't have to expect much from her. Meanwhile, Sakura is the heroine of the series and is content with being treated like garbage and her highest aspiration is getting this guy that makes her feel like shit to be with her, and can't even drudge up any substantial or intelligent thoughts about his person or communicate anything of depth about her feelings .
Another difference is that Karin is made of tougher stuff than Sakura. Perhaps its why Sakura looks just as pathetic in comparison. While Karin didn't shed a tear when Sasuke tried to kill her, Sakura breaks down. While Sakura's world comes to a screeching halt when Sasuke doesn't notice her in the face of one of the strongest ninja in the world, Karin wouldn't have batted an eye. She may be horny, but Sasuke's brusque or otherwise plain manner of expressing himself doesn't tear away at her self esteem the way it does Sakura. Even normal things, such as telling her she can't come with him on his redemption journey, send her spiraling into self pity and angst.
This isn't some anti Sakura, pro-Karin thing, but it is sad that the main heroine and girl in the pairing is really no different than the character they love to bash in comparison, and practically anything that can be said about one doubles back on the other. Like the manga shows, Sakura's sole advantage and relevance to Sasuke being she was on Team 7, and any Sasuke fangirl on his team would have gotten the D just the same. Sad, but hilarious.
I'm pretty sure the op asked why we like Karin and why we favor Karin more than Sakura, but here we are, over here, with the same old stupid shit, with the same old illogical lunatic trying to counter anything that has something to go against Sakura. How shameful that people can be this insecure.

She is an Uzumaki that is still around along with her unique traits that tends to make her stand out at times, especially when she single-handedly defeated Spiral Zetsu with brute force alone. Plus unlike Sakura, she (at one point) had the guts to put her foot down when Sasuke went too far with her in terms of the Danzo betrayal.

Plus admittedly she's very charming without her glasses.
The thing I like about Karin's character the most is the fact that it's deceptively deep. At first glance, Karin is just your typical Sasuke fangirl. Dwell a little deeper though, and you realise just how atypical she is. For one, she's not afraid to call Sasuke out/be rude to him, unlike say Sakura who is like this rarely. In other words, she's comfortable being herself[/B} around Sasuke. That, combined with her somewhat tragic background and humorous moments, make her a decent character in my book.
