Gielford decided to begin the meal in advanced, but only had the materials and supplies for a simple rice and meat meal, thus beginning to cook the beef and chicken while waiting for the rice to finish up boiling. However, he pays no attention to them as he applies a slight bit of teriyaki sauce upon the meats and assorted vegetables, sweating from the heat of the food. He isn't even aware of their presence for that matter, nor the fact that Ari wants a chocolate milkshake.*
