Re: Scarlet Moutain
*Gielford sits gently inside of a cab, his hands folded on top of his lap as he glances out at the countryside, numerous trees flying by in a impressionistic blur as the cab speeds at an overly swift pace, dodging cars left and right like a mouse dodges the stones and sticks as it flees from the maw of a voracious cat. He gently puffs a cigarette, it mostly being burnt out, more out of boredom than relaxation, a slight, but steady, stream of smoke glazing the window as it seeps out of the opening of it. A blast of overly noisy music blares from the radio, but Gielford pays it little attention. Instead, he chooses to recap the little information anyone knew of the latest case. A girl named Yukiko Amagi was last seen around a location locally known as the Scarlet Mountain approximately two months ago, the latest of a case of disappearances around the hotel. It's most known for its elegant displays and gracious hospitality, but also for its vast forest surroundings. It's also known for its haunting rumors of both monsters being hidden in its mist, as well as a ghost of a woman rumored underneath the tongues of the drunken as being a siren, known to call for the lost to follow towards its bussom, and then devour the poor souls alive. Gielford would almost scuff at this, except his observations led him to believe that wolves could very well be within the hilly forests of this land. A far more worrisome proposition than he was led to believe... this case could, very well, take a morbid turn.*
*Alas, the cab stops quite suddenly, shifting Gielford's weight slightly as it does so, the Indian man glaring at Gielford. Without any instruction, Gielford pays the man and carries his luggage out of the cab, barely having the chance to close the door before the cab dashes off. He sighs, before looking upon the hotel. Truly its elegance isn't understated. He then glances one last time at a photograph, the only one he had of this Yukiko girl.*
Hm... A Japanese girl it seems, with long black hair. I highly doubt she'd be in a Kimono anymore though... I guess seeing the hostess may be a start here... still, from my understanding, she's actually the daughter of a well known hotel owner, why would she have disappeared here of all places...
*Gielford scratches the back of his head as he begins to climb up the stairs leading to the hotel.*
{hopefully I'm getting the general environment of this place right, I've only read the intro and the last few pages of this thread.}
