As long as it didn't create some paradoxical effect on time and make things worse...

OT: There was a girl in 8th grade that was being picked on by all the boys. She looked at me with sad eyes and asked me for a piece of paper. I think she just wanted someone to do something nice for her. I don't know, but I replied to her, "what do you need paper for?" in a snotty tone. It's been 25 some years and I still remember that. I should have just smiled and given her some paper. It's funny how some things seem trivial at the time, but they stick with you.

man, I would go back in time and tell my father to get out of the car with his friends so that way I would have him hear to guide me today

I wouldn't change a thing. If I did I wouldn't be me anymore.
Could I go back and change your life for you then? You're quite a pestering one. Norman and I, well mainly me since Norman would never say this so bluntly and I wouldn't want to put words in his mouth, just think you need a bit of work.

I would not change a thing. Most of my life has not been close to perfect, but all that changed with Norman. We were meant to be and I would never risk changing that.

If I could go back in time I'd make sure your parents didn't reproduce, you damn freak.

If I could go back, I would say at least one word to a particular person before that person left at the end of 2012. I regret not having conversed with that person as much as I would have liked to. Truth be told, I really liked that person (in an innocent way), but for some reason I could not get myself to speak from fear of talking. And I guess I still have this fear with some people...

I like all the response guys but I was talking about in History. Like would you save Abe Lincoln or save MLk from being shot.

No. Changes to big events in history (as opposed to small things in our lives) could have really bad effects that we might never be able to predict. Sure, who wouldn't want to go back in time and get Hitler accepted to art school. Maybe that would have prevented the holocaust, maybe not. Maybe WWII wouldn't have happened without Hitler and the great worldwide depression would have continued. Maybe some other country would have come out as a world leader and not US after WWII because of that, and instead of McDonald's across the globe it was internment camps for a world-conquering nation. Or maybe 11 Million Jews, Russians, and Roma people would have just lived their lives like normal. Or who knows. That's the butterfly effect. I wouldn't tamper with history too much.
