[Discussion] Just to Put it in Perspective

So we have the 10 wizards saints who also hold the 4 gods of ishvar (Currently 3).
The guild of FT who probably hold there own wizards that could be considered on par with the saints (Gildarts, Laxus, Natsu, Erza etc).

On the other side we have the Alvarez Empire with there 700+ guilds built into a military force. They hold the Spriggan 12 who protect the king and are all on par with the once strongest mage of Ishvar, God Serena (Who knows if the king is fodder or actually the strongest mage)

All this power and so many strong wizards and "Gods" and yet....

So compared to Zeref and Acnologia (Who are confirmed to have enough power to rule the world) all these guys are fodder currently?
The hype is real.
(I guess the point of the thread is show that Acnologia could bring down Alvarez Empire single handed if he so wished, same for zeref)

Something like that is actually what I think will happen, at the end of this arc either Acnologia or Zeref will devastate the Alvarez Empire.

We got a glimpse of them before the arc and it sounds like Zeref is planning to start his extermination of all humans soon.

As these two are basically somehow involved or connected to almost every arc, I am beginning to think they will appear at the end of the arc.

Speaking of power levels, Fairy Tails is going to be one over powered Guild by the end of this manga:

They have Natsu who will defeat Zeref and Acnologia, which will basically put him at the top in the end.

Gildarts, Laxus, and Erza who are all Wizard Saint level,

Gray and Gajeel who will be at a bare minimum Wizard Saint level by the end of the series assuming they aren't Wizard Saint level already (and I suspect that they are).

I was thinking much of the same. Maybe once the master is rescued and the battle are nearly done Acno will appear and decimate the empire in a blink of an eye. Now that would be something.

Im not so sure Zeref is greater than Acnologia. At first I did think so but once that chapter confirmed that there basically is no real connection between Acno and Zeref (Zeref turning Acno into a dragon etc) I think they both stand at the pinnacle of power.

Also remember that future rogue said the future he came from Acno ruled it.

Most of the people don't realize how hax his shadow is, he's literary untouchable by those who do not have shadow forms to pull him out of any surface. You either need to be able to react to the shadow speed or have a shadow form like rough

Plot would always find a way. Although that form is something but Natsu beat future rogue who had that same power. Its just good for maneuvering but thats it.

Any attack is basicallly useless seeing how he can literary just hide inside the surface but yeah plot is everything in ft
