Ooo, I like that smudge. It looks nice. :p I should try one, one of these days. U_U :bdpf: I think that'll be my next thing. :p

Nice avatars as well. Last one looks a tad lq I think, maybe it's just me. :( You should have lowered the opacity a little on the first border, imo.

Nice work! :pekoms2:

Glad.<_>
Well done ^^
Love the avatars, and nice smudge sig, only thing really killing it is the over sharpening.
Thanks Drizzy-- I thought with that amount of sharpening it would stick out more but I guess it does look a little over done lol
Avatars are great, but minor over-touchy mistakes. About the smug: something is not blended well.
Thanks! Mind pointing those out? :D

Alright, as always let me begin with the main focus, and that is the tag.

I like the idea where the light source is, and it gives it a nice look, but what I find kind of confusing, is how the other side is not as dark as it should have really been. I mean, if it were a little darker it would have looked more pleasing to my eye. The color choice is nice and will give you a full props there, well done. For the smudge itself, you made it as if the render was the main point where everything spread over to the other sides, in a way or another explosion and there is the part where it seems kinda weird. It really seems as if it was dragged, rather then it was exploded. It has kind of an artificial view to it, which I seem to find a little weird, but that is all minor, and it doesn't ruin the amazing look the tag has overall.

As for the avatars, I like them all equally, and I will be taking one if I am allowed.

As always amazing work Tali, you outdo yourself every time <3

The oversharpness of the tag is its downfall. In the future, try using a smart sharpener so you'll be able to regulate the amount of sharpness on the applied image :)

Also, to make this tag stand out a bit better, try adding a vibrance layer with the settings turned up to all (or you can play around with it), it really makes a big difference. I see you tried a bi-concept smudge, i.e with different brushes and I think its brilliant but the graininess (most likely caused by the sharpness on the right side and the type of brush used on the left side) is a bit overpowering. But all in all, a very good first smudge (You and I both know that smudging kills braincells so kudos :p)

Anyways, most of the other problems have been pointed out already >_<

I like the animation on the middle avatar, you're one of the few GFX'ers that actually work on avatars, rather than pasting 3-4 adj layers on em and call it an "export" lol

Point of smudge tags is creating a shape. That is why all advanced smudge tags are actually created on tablets, not with a mouse. To create a shape you need two tools: contrast and lines of the shape. U have both, so for a start it's not bad. But do try to play with different, more complicated shapes. Another thing to pay attention when doing a smudge tag is to find appropriate render, if you want to work with render. I talked with Skorm who made that airtag of Alucard; my most favorite airtag I've ever seen; and he told me that you can't choose any render for airtag. I feel like the same rule applies to smudge tags. U need good render, which will give you base for the shape which u will make. I feel like this render you choose was not all that good, but again for a starter I feel this is ok. And dang it, that sharpenzyyyy!!! Lol I am always scared when comes to sharpening a smudge tag but hey... We all need practice. Do not belive in stuff 'smudge tag does not need text'. False. Everything can look good with text if you know how to make it look good. xD

KIU!!!!! :bouncy: YOU ARE QUEEN!!!! of donuts <3

Ofc you're allowed to use ^^

Thanks sixpops:D
Woah woah woah, calm down. Over sharpened af. xD Other than that the sig is pretty nice.
xD Thanks!
As others said, the sig is oversharpened. One side of the sig is bright, and the other half is dark. I think a balance would be nice.
Yeah, but i purposely wanted it to look as if it is contrasted by having a side inverted in color to the other.

Thank you very much ghostmen-san. Actually, i used the same brush on both sides xd. I just randomly done something without any consciousness what so ever (remember I was so bored making the tag) and I still can't figure out what i done to make it (the smudges on the left) look so nice and smudgy lol
