Which would hold any relevance if Kakashi's striking speed were better than Sasuke's,

Obviously it is I dont know is it plot purpose,nerfing or anything but its a fact Kakashi had striking speed that allowed him to hit Kaguya, while Sasuke with his striking speed couldn´t.

Also, how in the hell is that hit a testament to Kakashi's striking speed, when all he did was a downwards thrust, and there was no actual hand motion involved? :lol Sasuke teleports and then attacks; Kakashi just extends his arm and increases his speed with Shunshin. It's like saying someone simply running at me with a pointed sword has better striking speed than another sword user swinging at me. Shit makes no sense, just like this whole thread.

It is truth, but your comparison doesn't even contains all bullshit they are talking about. I mean Kakashi used Kaguya's own speed to decrease distance and element of surprise as he passed through Kaguya's attacks while she was moving at full speed towards him so he just turn off ghost mode when she was close to Raikiri her.

It is also truth that Kaguya may not consider him threat and planned to just absorb Kamui raikiri to be surprised that she can not. It was more Kakashi's battle smartness, kaguya's cockiness and element of surprise then Kakashi literally blizting Kaguya lol.

This, plus the fact that she was still facing Indra's reincarnation - one of the two major threats she faced - while being low on chakra, and the fact that she knows Sasuke could use Ameno multiple times before needing to recharge, so absorbing would be pointless and dangerous.
