Why the hell would Naruto want to use RSM against a kid?? Yeah okay so he went BSM against him, but that was in order to protect Sarada and Chochou against those Shuriken pieces and to quickly subdue the enemy. Plus he had the Mangekyo Sharingan which caused him to be wary of his abilities. But RSM would be complete overkill.
I mean that's like Goku going SSJ3 against Friezas final form. He just went above his average power to quickly to take him down and possibly negate his Mangekyo abilities. Plus, it's not like the TSB would even be needed in that fight.
Also, in his 2 second bout with Father Shin he used his kyuubi chakra to swipe away those metal plates because he saw it as fodder, but once he saw Father Shin redirect it with his Mangekyo Sharingan (in which Naruto was shown to be analysing it from the beginning) that's when he activated BSM to shield against it. No point going all out against a fodder...
Whats next, you gonna say Sasuke lost his Susanoo because of his rinnegan just because he didn't use it in his fight or to protect Sarada? Or he lost his Susanoo because he lost his arm? You doughnuts....
Edit: Also to those that's shocked that a sword pierced Naruto, if you go back and look at the chapter where Sasuke lands, you'd see that a shroud of Chakra in he form of kyubis head is surrounding them which is already serving as a defence, plus the sword took Naruto off guard.
