I don't really think that Naruto was ever so durable that Kusanagi or whatever sword Sasuke has now wouldn't pierce him. It was even capable of piercing JJ Mady, so why not Naruto?

Thank you Slade. I'm annoyed by all these whiny threads today. Didn't Tsunade go through the same thing waaaay back in part one when Orochimaru apporached her to heal his arms. She was so rusty from not fighting she couldn't best Kabuto.

Same thing applies to Naruto and Sasuke. They are family dudes now and haven't had a high level battle in over a decade, yet they are suppose to be as sharp as they were during the war?

Tanks aren't organic and don't think and have children. It doesn't really apply.

However you let a tank sit for 20 years then try to fire from the cannon and it might explode in your face. Same concept applies. Without maintenance the tank will stop working properly after 20 years.....so I guess it does apply XD

Ugh, the chapter couldn't have been any clearer. Just the Riker said above(I won't repeat it) and the fact the Kurama is acknowledging it is clear as day. This happened a lot with Vegeta and Gohan whenever there was peace, maybe you can understand that.

1. Sasuke was capable of piercing a Juubi's Jinchuriki with that sword. IDK why you're acting like it's a toothpick.

2. With enough wear and tear, even a tank loses its durability. The fact of the matter is, Naruto and Sasuke have had 20+ years of inactivity, while they had these powers for in between a day and maybe a year last we saw them use it. It'd make no sense if they were just as good now as they were bad then. Little less whine, little more think, you guys.

When I was saying that months ago, the fans thought that I was a bit crazy since they thought that Naruto and Sasuke would train in times of peace... Some even said that they would be after 20 yeras stronger than Madara or Kaguya... Agreed + rep

Go back to the Kai Ternament before bobbadi showed up. Vegeta said it himeslf. He grew rusty after settling down and having a kid with Bulma while Goku continued to train in the afterlife. That's why he let Bobbidy (or however you spell it) control him. for the power boost to beat Goku.

Goku actually said "I guess you have been pushing yourself even harder than I have" during the Majinn Vegeta fight and Vegeta even said "That may be true" .He only said that he thought Goku having a family made him stronger which didnt happen in his case.
Goku also got stronger because he had an unfair advantage that in the other world he had near infinite energy and stamina to train more

If the characters weren't nerfed, basically need a God to pose a serious threat. Like the last time when they resurrected the characters called gods amongst shinobi to fight in the last story arc. Why put the time into introducing the new genin generation if they need to be godlike again to handle the new threat.

Naruto is still the fastest ninja. Kinda thought he got stabbed due to a flying thunder god space-time teleportation seal or the use of izanagi. You know, that technique they introduced the last time someone had an arm stuffed with sharingan? Either way, it doesn't mean speed was the only way Naruto got stabbed.

yes goku said that. Vegeta didn't. Vegeta stated he grew weak and soft because of his family not stronger for it. He said he lost his warrior pride found himself settling down and even had a kid. It doesn't mean he stopped training. He just didn't push himself as hard as goku, who, agreed, had an unfair advantage and another level above Vegeta. But Vegeta didn't know that at the time. Same applied to Gohan even more so. He started dating and focusing on school and the teenage life rather than train.
