Darui is a skilled swordsman with an array of elemental justus. Sasori a puppet master with an array of puppets each with tricks and traps, traps Darui has no intel on since he only knows about the poison and the core. With most of these traps another Puppet Master like Chiyo couldnt see them coming so it will be ever harder for Darui. All Sasori needs is one cut in this match.
Hiruko
Mostly a defensive puppet with a hard shell on its back. Chiyo states

, something like Sakura's punch. We dont know much of anything about Black Lightning so we cant say it breaks the shell, storm release has a good chance of doing a lot of damage maybe even breaking it if Darui uses a lot of beams.

many times and all over the place. Even if he somehow manages to not get scratched at all he still has absolutely no place to go since he is boxed in at every point, this leaves him wide open for Sasori to finish him off from the outside.
He also has no defense against this technique, his cleaver is useless, suiton cant help stop this as the Iron sand cuts right through the water as it easily did the earth. Black Lightning hasnt shown the force to stop a technique of this level or something as strong as compressed iron and Storm release is not strong enough unless aimed in the same place but we know World method goes everywhere.
Himself
I dont think Sasori will need to resort to using himself. He also wouldnt knowing about Darui's kenjustu and since Darui knows about his core. He is simply safer from a long distance and would not engage in CQC using his real body.
