[Discussion] ways barto becomes a SH

i think for him to become a straw hat he will save everyone in dressrosa by putting up a barrier in the bird cage. this makes him the hero. who saved the people and luffy beats df making him the man who saved the country. then luffy will ask him.

what you guys think will he make it and if so how?

He already has his own crew so I don't think he'll join. The first new member to join will be Jimbei if someone will join.

I don't think he'll become a strawhat. An ally is more realistic I think, as he's already a captain. Although I really like Barto lol, him joining would be awesome but his personality is that of a fanboy to the SH, so him being around them 24/7 and fanboying would make no sense.

He won't. There's a certain pattern that all the SH followed before they became a member and Bartolomeo doesn't even have a dream he wants to fulfill, which is the most common thing amongst the SH. He's just a fanboy and he looks too weird...

For sure bart is gonna be one the straw hat crew. First of all he's a fan boy so I'm sure he would be down to drop his crew to get in theirs. Second he doesn't neccisarily need a crazy backstory but he does have one. He witnessed dragon releasing luffy. He has an amazing df ability. His personality works well with the rest of the crew. He has the seriousness and malise of zoro but with the light hearted addition of Brooke. He will join their crew but not because luffy asks him but because he'll beg luffy. Jimbei will never join the straw hat crew. Neither will reileigh for that matter. Their too strong

His crew does not matter honestly , franky left his crew and the barto club probably know how much barto would want to be a strawhat !
I want him to join more than anyone else also it makes sense if he joins cuz the M3 will stay the M3 oda said that wont change so a new member will have to be weaker than sanji.
He also will be a change to the crew we have seen the same members for a long time now !

Da*m I was going to say that, when he is the PK he'll need fleets like WB and they will be Barto and crew, the heart pirates, and the kuja pirates (sorry for misspell) or another one of the supernovas.

yea i agree xD. Now that i look at Law, i really don't get the Whitebeard type of a feel from him.

he seems more like Shiki. But maybe unlike Shiki who seemed to be weak compared to Roger/WB.. Kidd will be a bad guy who will rival Luffy. So basically instead of WB = Roger, it'd be in the new generation Shiki (kidd) = Roger (luffy)

Bartolomeo would fit right into the Strawhats crew. He is similar in ways to some of the SH's.
In case you missed it, He wants to sail the world with the Strawhats and he even wants to become stronger so that Luffy can rely on him.
That's like a combination of Franky and Chopper's dream. Franky's dream was to sail the world on his ship(which is being used by the SH's) and Chopper said on FI that he wants to be stronger for Luffy's sake.
Franky and him were leaders of a gang.
Both Bart and Sanji are fanboys, just for different reasons.
He also defends his friends which goes for all of the SH's.
There may be more, but I can't think of any.
I can't remember who said it, but when the SH's finally reach Raftel, Barto will say "We've made it to One Piece Bay" lol

I forgot about shiki yea that sound about right. I also think Luffy is like the combination of WB and Roger that why we can't find a WB in their gen

I doubt he will join, yes Franky might have left his punks but the difference here is thpse guys were not pirates or into sailing or such plus Franky staying wld have ment constant trouble from the WG and bounty hunters alike and well sooner or later Franky wld b taken. Now for Barto leaving his crew is actually similar to if Franky had stayed in W7 risking the lives of his punk followers, Barto wreck a VA for messing up Gambia and really thats a page taken from Luffy's book in always protect or do right by your friends.

So no Barto leaving his club is not like Franky leaving his punks coz the latter is a measure to protect one's friends while the former is leaving one's friends to the messy of the WG and bounty hunters. In manner of principle leaving his crew is quite an awful thing when measured up agnaist SH principles like Robin going with CP9 to protect the crew and the franky one.

Barto is cool but I think Oda did the whole Gambia, Maynard scenario to show us Barto's showing some very SH like qualities but if he abandoned those then being an SH is not fit for him(if one can understand that) but being an ally is great for a guy of such principles. anyways what does the df number pattern say about him?

i think i see the straw hats getting barto and maybe cabbage straw hats maybe a way for him to control his other half
