Terrain: Half of the terrain is a thick forest filled with poisonous insects of all sorts, like the Death Forest. The other half is of your choice. We start mid-range from each other on our respective halves.

Pantha had patterned blueish-green long-sleeve shirt, and black cloth pants and black boots as he walked through the exotic forest to stand before the other half of the arena. At his waist were all his ninja utensils and scrolls, while Strange Eclosion was in full swarm form hidden within is clothes, along with his Leviathan Gorges colony of flies. He wore black circle-lens sunglasses.

Description: Strange Eclosion is an elegantly woven body-length black and white scythe with an intricate curved shaft and two sets of blades, the first with a long bent edge, nearly half the size of the staff, with beautiful carvings in it's flat sides, the second being a dagger-like protrusion at the other end, like a sturdy and piercing nail. The scythe is entirely made of queratinized and sharpened insect mandibles, which appear like tiny blade shards on their one, but look and have the texture like a flat and sharp blade when they're in scythe form, with the exception of the double tonality of white and black shards of mandibles, which give the weapon the appearance of multiple spirals of insect eggs and pupas all across the scythe.

Charging chakra through the scythe allows the user to activate the shards, separating them and creating a sort of swarm of shards, white or black, which appear to eclode from the drawn eggs and leave the scythe in a swarm made of their own color. When they leave, the scythe itself will retain only the color of the remaining shards. These swarms will be manipulated through chakra to levitate around the user, and can be used as a medium for Aburame techniques, similar to actual insects, in terms of what type of structures and motions the swarm of sharpened mandibles is able to do, or by actual kenjutsu techniques, in which the swarm aggregates as the typical flying slashes, and gives a more tangibility. Being leaner and sharper than actual insects, and more tangible than chakra slashes, they can move faster and pierce further than the original techniques, so much so that, while they share the same elemental S&W, techniques used through the sharpened mandibles are one rank stronger than the technique used.

In pure scythe form, the user is able to utilize Kenjutsu, actual techniques or free-form, at will, and the flying shards will not gain any extra power. When manipulated in swarm form, the Black shards will be associated with Kenjutsu, aggregating to make the structures that the technique entails, be it simply a flying slash or actually producing an aggregated blade to remotely slash someone, while the White shards will be associated with Aburame, and manipulated through Aburame techniques. This restriction allows for an observing opponent to understand how each type of swarm works, despite the user being able to activate both swarms at the same time.

Note: The user is able to freely move and hide the scythe swarms in a container, similar to actual Aburame Insects, up to 2 meters around the user.
Note: Otherwise, Black swarm can only be manipulated by Kenjutsu, White swarm can only be manipulated by Aburame techniques.
Note: Each swarm can only be manipulated with one technique at the same time.
Note: The swarms can only be manipulated up to mid-range from each-other or the user.
Note: Activating a Swarm counts as a jutsu, activating both counts as two. Deactivating a swarm, reverting it back to scythe form does not count as a jutsu.
Note: Each turn a swarm is active the user must spend 5 chakra per turn, and per swarm.
Note: The blades themselves are indestructible, but they can be overpowered by other techniques, becoming unusable for 3 turns.

Description: Aqua regina, common name Leviathan Gorges, are from the Stoicheo****idae family, and a sister species to the Aqua devorus, bred through the Insect Cocoon technique after multiple generations. The Water Gluttons were thus exposed to the Aburame insects and to Water chakra, and mutated into a different species. The Leviathan Gorges are very similar to the Water Gluttons in appearance, with hydrophobic hairs, the ability to breath underwater and ingest a quantity of water several times their volume, though they present sexual dimorphism, a trait that has been extinct in the Zaebub Fly phylogeny.
The females are similar to the Gluttons in defensive properties, they are strong to Raw Chakra, Water and Organic Elements, while being weak against all others. The males, predominantly defensive, share their elemental S&W with Water itself, with the exception of Raw Chakra, Water and Organic Element, which they are strong to all the same. In a mixed swarm, the Leviathan Gorges are overall strong to Raw Chakra, Water and Organic Elements, Neutral to every element Water is strong against ( Fire, etc ) and weak against all other elements.
Similar to any Fly and Aburame insect, the Leviathan Gorges are capable of sucking chakra, reference being the Kikaichu. While the males are equal, the females possess a long hypodermic needle proboscis, which they use to pierce through cloth, leather and skin, and utilize their connection with Water to retrieve a higher intake of chakra, enhanced by the Water's properties displayed in techniques like Water Grudge Rain. Any technique that describes the absorption of chakra is multiplied by 4. In a mixed swarm, the Leviathan Gorges are overall 2 times as efficient as average Kikaichu in chakra absorption.
Their last ability, which is shared in both male and female Leviathan Gorges, they are intimately related to the Water element. This means they can exist and freely change from insect form to mist/water form and can be manipulated in both forms with Aburame and Water techniques, not just Aburame techniques, giving the swarm a great versatility and manoeuvrability. Technique that materialize water, or are spat/produced from the user will behave slightly differently, as the swarm of Leviathan Gorges will first move to the point of release, close to the mouth or somewhere else in the terrain, and then move according to the description. Turning from water/mist to insect does not count as a jutsu, as the swarm's own dynamic and social behaviour is already similar to free-flowing water, with some researchers equating the behaviour of some social insects, namely fire ants, to actual liquids. Every elemental property maintains, it is never truly water and thus can't be manipulated by anyone other than the user ( or drank ).

Note: Leviathan Gorges replace Panthalassa's cannon Parasitic Destruction Bugs ( Kikaichu ). To him, they don't count as a summon and there's a constant colony of them inhabiting his body and habitations.
Note: Other signers of the contract must summon the Leviathan Gorges, and they last 4 turns in the field.
Note: The swarm is S rank to summon, and becomes the rank of the technique that is currently being used to manipulate it, be it lower or higher. Freestyle manipulation is similar to D rank and, passively, they do not share the strength of an S rank.
Note: The flies can't use Water jutsu, they can only be manipulated as such.

Seeing his opponent, it was clear he was a Kenjutsu user. This was good, Pantha was also a Kenjutsu user, and he was also more than that. Raising his voice, he declared to his opponent.

My name is Admiral Aburame Panthalassa! What is your name, swordsman?

As he said so, he focused chakra through his body, creating a nurturing culture of chakra to initiate a rapid-breeding process within his fly colony, making them more used to low ranked chakra.

( Aburame no Hijutsu: Kyousei ) Insect Hidden Technique: Symbiosis

Description: This technique utilizes the principles of the Insect Cocoon technique to induce a rapid reproduction of the host's insects. This is an advanced and more costly version of that technique, establishing a chakra-saturated environment during the rapid-breeding phase of the insect's development. This shifts their feeding habits into needed less chakra to stay alive and function, since they have an abundance of easily available food, but require a constant contact with it. Practical speaking, after the Symbiosis is complete, the insects, for 8 turns, will require the user to passively feed them a small quantity of chakra per turn ( 5 ), but, in turn, will require less chakra, half as much, for Insect Manipulation techniques, without hindering their strength and efficacy. This is a mutualistic trade-off between the host and the insects through the duration of the technique.

Note: After Symbiosis, cost of all insect techniques is halved ( x1/2 ).
Note: The user is unable to perform any other technique the same turn Symbiosis is performed, nor have any active insect swarm outside of his body.
Note: Alternatively, the user divides the initial infusion of chakra in two, and is able to perform the Symbiosis in two turns, allowing him to perform one other technique, without manipulation of the insects, each turn.
Note: At any point, the user is able to perform the Insect Cocoon technique, ending the effects of Symbiosis and re-establishing the default nutritional needs and behaviours.
Note: Effects of the Symbiosis lasts 8 turns, after which the user is unable to use Forbidden techniques for 2 turns and S ranked Insect techniques for 1 turn.
Note: Can only be used three times per battle.

Panthalassa was very serious, he would not underestimate his opponent. Raising his arms, he voiced.

I'm ready!

And then a great swarm of flies erupts from his clothes, creating a massive cloud of insects that blocks out the sun and turns the forest into night. The swarm of flies then rains down on you, chaotically and loudly buzzing around, wrapping around you and bitting you, dealing a great deal of damage while the females pierce into your skin and suck the chakra out of you.

Medium Holds, 40 Damage Points. The females absorb 14 x 4, which is 56 chakra per turn.

In the meantime, Panthalassa disappears from sight into the trees, running to his left. While you lose track of him, he still keeps an eye on you, targeting you at will.

In reply to the swarm of Insects coming towards Saito. He began focusing chakra to his sword before changing the element of the chakra to fire before pivoting on one foot to spin at high speeds to slash and burn all the bugs around him.

Saito followed by dashing towards his opponent with his sword sheathed before quick drawing and swinging the sword to covered in flames to cutting the opponent deeply.

Unfortunately for the samurai, Panthalassa's insects were not your usual Kikaichu. The mixed swarm of Leviathan Gorge flies is neutral to fire, and, because of that, Hollow overpowers the slash attack, allowing the rest of the technique to go through. As the the flies wrap around the man, he is unable to withdraw his sword, so tightly they latch on, and is unable to prevent 56 of his chakra from being depleted by the female flies, and is also unable to perform the rest of his attack. The flies then suck more chakra from him, and damage him further.

Unhindered, Panthalassa goes to the forest as planned, fleeing from his opponent's sight, as he keeps producing more flies that spread across the underside forest, two of them turning into perfect replicas of Panthalassa. The first clone starts running in the opposite direction of Pantha, which is circling around you to his left, hidden by the forest, constantly in mid-range. The second clone stops in place for a while, before moving directly towards you, shortening the distance. As he left, Panthalassa produced the Strange Eclosion scythe from his clothes, forming it in full Scythe Form around the second clone, wielding it on his right hand.

Description: The user creates up to 3 clones made out of his Kikaichū bugs or any nearby bugs under his control. The clones can use all Aburame jutsus up to S-rank and have the ability in which the bugs that they are made of can suddenly burst out straight towards a target mid range from them when they disperse.

Note: Clones can also use Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu up to A rank.

what the...? Parasitic insects? My strength is leaving me! Have to do something quick!

Using his technique almost sure the insects would burn from the flames covering his blade, instead the continued to pursue their attack putting Saito in a situation that Saito was trying to avoid in the first place. The bugs then wrap around Saito and he can feel himself gradually losing his strength. He then focused as much as he could before changing the fire covering his blade before into lightning. To try to break free from the bugs He then releases a 6 consecutive one handed swings of his blade starting with a downward vertical swing, an upward diagonal swing from right to left, a downward diagonal swing from right to left, a lateral swing from left to right, and upward diagonal swing from right to left, and an upward vertical swing of the sword with one hand, before spinning and swinging everything around him to get rid of the remainder of the bugs.

Saito then sees the opponent closing the distance between them. Before the clone enters close range from Saito, he removes the elemental change from the chakra around his sword revealing raw chakra while sharpening both edges of the sword before making a one handed swift downward vertical swing of his sword which allowed the chakra to be released as an arc projectile cutting the opponent in half if connected.

Description: This technique is unique to samurai, which employs the concept of chakra flow techniques similar to the flying sparrow and Kusanagi: Chidori katana. Through the use of chakra flow the user channels their chakra through their swords his extends the reach and the cutting ability of the blade, and also allows the user to fire crescents of chakra whenever the blade is swung. This released chakra is capable of great destruction as shown from how it destroyed a stone pillar. The samurai have also shown the ability to use shape transformation, as they can form their chakra blades into giant buzz saws, broad swords, spiked shafts, and axes. This ability allows them to rely on smaller swords while retaining greater reach, damage, and surprise attacks as needed.(The technique is capable of countering Ninjutsu of A rank and below due to the chakra charge technique).

Using his technique almost sure the insects would burn from the flames covering his blade, instead the continued to pursue their attack putting Saito in a situation that Saito was trying to avoid in the first place. The bugs then wrap around Saito and he can feel himself gradually losing his strength. He then focused as much as he could before changing the fire covering his blade before into lightning. To try to break free from the bugs He then releases a 6 consecutive one handed swings of his blade starting with a downward vertical swing, an upward diagonal swing from right to left, a downward diagonal swing from right to left, a lateral swing from left to right, and upward diagonal swing from right to left, and an upward vertical swing of the sword with one hand, before spinning and swinging everything around him to get rid of the remainder of the bugs.

Saito then sees the opponent closing the distance between them. Before the clone enters close range from Saito, he removes the elemental change from the chakra around his sword revealing raw chakra while sharpening both edges of the sword before making a one handed swift downward vertical swing of his sword which allowed the chakra to be released as an arc projectile cutting the opponent in half if connected.

He met the fire temple monks who he eventually became friends with, they taught him the basics of elemental chakra and through heavy meditation and reaching a state of spiritual zen he learnt to unlock his elemental chakra for a moment which he eventually came to master. Not knowing handseals he still could not use ninjutsu but he could channel the elemental chakra like he normally would with normal chakra [Samurai Sabre Skill]. This allowed him to use elemental taijutsu/kenjutsu (e.g. NB taijutsu).

-Once finished the user can only use techniques A rank and under.
-Can only be taught by the Current Shogun and Second in Command (as long as they have the Shogun's permission) to people he deems worthy.
-Can only be used by a Samurai
-The amount of turns the user can unblock their chakra and reach a state of spiritual zen depends on their rank:
Chukanbushi - 3 turns
Seieibushi - 4 turns
Kodenbushi - 5 turns
Current Shogun and Second in Command - Activated for the rest of the match

Description: This technique is unique to samurai, which employs the concept of chakra flow techniques similar to the flying sparrow and Kusanagi: Chidori katana. Through the use of chakra flow the user channels their chakra through their swords his extends the reach and the cutting ability of the blade, and also allows the user to fire crescents of chakra whenever the blade is swung. This released chakra is capable of great destruction as shown from how it destroyed a stone pillar. The samurai have also shown the ability to use shape transformation, as they can form their chakra blades into giant buzz saws, broad swords, spiked shafts, and axes. This ability allows them to rely on smaller swords while retaining greater reach, damage, and surprise attacks as needed.(The technique is capable of countering Ninjutsu of A rank and below due to the chakra charge technique).

From the cover of the forest, Panthalassa saw as his opponent pushed the insects off his body with a cyclone of slashes from his sword. He was precise and skilled, but he was still at a disadvantage, for Panthalassa controlled the terrain, with great swarms of insects flying all around the forest. When his opponent directed the Samurai Sabre technique at the second clone, three things happens simultaneously.

First of all, I don't know much about the Samura Sabre technique. It is equal to ninjutsu of it's rank, and Aburame techniques are technically ninjutsu, but they're also strong against basic chakra, which I assume is what the Samura techniques are composed of ( My sensei taught me that kenjutsu is the same a basic ninjutsu in relation to elemental strength and weakness, and weaker than elemental techniques ). So, I'd like you to help me on that, as the second clone swings the Strange Eclosion scythe, separating the white blades from the black scythe, shooting out 2 white spears against the samurai slash. I'm assuming the spear would pierce through the slash, and continue to revolve around one another, before piercing through the man's gut.

(Kikaichu kasui no Jutsu) - Destruction Bug Stream technique

The first clone would use the flies flying within the forest, supplied by Panthalassa, and run them through the forest's floor, so that, when the 2 white spears are released, the ground erupts into a mass of flies that encases the samurai and prevents him from moving, while draining his chakra.

(Hijutsu: Mushimuma) - Secret Technique: Insect Bog

And Panthalassa would manipulate the flies towards the air above the Samurai, creating a blanket of insects that constrict him even further, and add their strength to the rest of the techniques, to severely hinder and damage the man.

(Hijutsu: Mushidama) - Secret Technique: Insect Sphere

Description: By using the destruction bugs, members of the Aburame clan release their bugs into the air. Once the bugs sense an enemy presence, they will all gather on the enemy and cover him completely, and begin draining his chakra. This technique is very hard to avoid at short range.
Note: Must be a member of the Aburame clan.

While the white spears do not absorb your chakra, the other two do, so consider the effects of this one doubled, as the females within swarm sucks through you.


(Kikaichuu) - Destruction Bug x2

Description:The user summons a host of bugs form there very own body.This justu does not require any chakra sense the bugs do all the work.
Damage Calculation:Small holds=20, Medium Holds=40,Large Holds=60,Super Large Holds=80
NOTE:Must be a member of the Aburame Clan or be taught by a member of the Aburame Clan.

Large Hold each, 60 damage, 120 damage total. The females absorb 14 x 4 x 2, which is 112 chakra per turn from each of the techniques.

While Saito sheath his one sword, he then grip all six of his swords 3 between the knuckles of each hand. In the meantime he see an attack coming towards him from the front but Saito also hears the buzzing sound of the disgusting bugs coming from all directions. After covering the swords with chakra. Saito then proceeded to extend his claws outwards while spinning rapidly creating a wall with 3 razor sharp lines as he moves to the side short range from his original position allowing him to avoid all the techniques.

Once Unalaq successfully avoided the attack Saito dashes toward his opponent at speeds untraceable. Once Saito is close range from the opponent he then covers all his blades with sharp chakra before unleashing a barrage of consecutive melee attacks, swinging his blades in the six cardinal direction before thrusting all his blades forward impaling the opponent in the abdomen to finish the battle.

Woah that was a close one. I better end this quickly. Time for the Ten no Ryu no Tsume.

While the man tried to slice through the insects, he was simply overwhelmed. The technique used through the white Strange Eclosion has 1 rank boost, turning it into an S rank, and Aburame are naturally strong to chakra, which is what composes Panthalassa's opponent's technique. On that clash alone, the man would would have been overwhelmed, but with the additional two techniques, he is just drowned in flies and sliced by the blades. Now, with very serious injuries, and pinned to the ground, there wasn't much the man could do. So while Pantha and his clones sustained their techniques, sucking another round of 112 chakra from the completely immobilized man, the clone closest to gut-pierced man manipulates the white swarm again, and pushes them into a spear-like pillar that aggregates beneath the man's head, but does not pierce until the clone orders it to.

With a gesture, all the insects disperse, including the clones, and Panthalassa appears from the foliage.

This was a very interesting match, I thank you Saito Hajime.

He then pushed the man upwards in a pillow bed of flies, taking them man into a nearby hospital.
