1. Great taste.

2. He kinda is but only in this arc, his powers work too effectively against the troupe and on his chain jail he has imposed a limitation onto this chain, so that it can only be used to deal with members of the Phantom Troupe, which is consistent with the covenants of nen. Also till the time you finish the series you'll see others reaching his level and many many more powerful.

3.a Not really soon in HxH you'll find that Gon and Killua aren't the strongest, they have immense potential but not in any way strongest or top tier.
b. They just learnt nen so it will take some time to master it. Nobunaga wanting them to join was itself a feat.
c. There will be a huge training arc soon.
d. Togashi has employed a exposition approach in HxH so focus shifts from Gon and Killua especially in the latest DC arc.

Enjoy next arc is good but CA arc was the pinnacle for me. :)
1. Why thank you.

2. Of course but does chains are too OP because within the spam of 6-7 months this dude became powerful as to the phantom troupe which is pretty hilarious.

3. [a] Of course they won't be the strongest but in this whole arc, they turned from ''Whoa 2 badasses, better watch out villains'' to ''-_- so what happened to all the hype we were getting on the first and second arc?''

The same as kurapika and now compare them and see my point.

[c]I hope it's soon because i had to take breaks in between because i wasn't pleased as I were when i was watching the first and second arc.

[d]Okey.

That's not the problem. The problem is that somehow kurapika became too OP with those chains and gon/killua looked like sakura from naruto. In the exam arc which is not too long, kurapika feared killua to the point he wanted to avoid fighting the guy, now killua just like a fodder or a damsel in distress. I understand gon not to be powerful but killua? What happened to all these years training as an assassin? Hopefully next arc they train to gain new abilities or strengths because the phantom group are not looking for trouble as seem as the last episode of this arc. So they do have time while they're searching for gon's father.

Overall the anime went from 10 to 9.
What fiend said pretty much. They're only kids, you'll realize that they aren't strong and they may look "weak" compared to the top tiers but you will notice that their potential is incredible. Yeah, they will be getting new abilities soon enough. Just keep watching

1. Well without spoiling I would add that covenants can be placed on nen which make it very powerful. These are like sacrifices Kurapika made it on his chain jail which made it too powerful but only against phantom troupe no one else.Same will happen in CA arc.
2.Oh now it's Gon and Killua throughout and as Corazon points out it's going to be a ride of new abilities.

Ep 66.

This is what i was talking about; they're actually training and they're becoming stronger. This arc is actually pretty good so far. I love how killua went to do the test to become a hunter and he actually defeated everyone by himself in less than 2 hours. I'm loving the ending, i need the song! Someone drop the link of it.

That girl that is 57 years old that looks like a loli, damn traps! T_T

Phantom troupes are here! That means some epic fight might happen.

I just finished Greed Island arc (ep 75) and good! This arc was good compared to york arc.

I did actually like the concept of RPG sorta game. There was a lot of training this arc which i did like a lot. I'm not going to lie but the villains of this arc were awesome! That loli girl, oh boy! when she went ham against that dude.... she looked like.... i dunno how to describe it haha.

The soundtrack was good, the fights were good. The whole theme with the cards reminded me of yu gi oh which was awesome!

That ending of episode 75! that better be his father! Kick his butt gon!

5/5!

Without spoiling anything I can now say things will take a very darker turn and next arc for me is one of the best shonen arc HxH shines now because of it's portrayal of Human race and the mind blowing complexities of each character, some awesome fun begins now.

I don't see how telling him the arc titles is much of a spoiler, especially upcoming ones. There's only one arc title that contains spoilers but the rest is fine.
It does ruin the experience of not knowing what's coming, and since Hunter x Hunter arc names are pretty much the core of the story of that arc, it would ruin it very much. It's not something like One Piece, where even if you knew the names of the arcs it would just mean the name of the next island their on.

I want to clear some misconceptions here. Kurapika is powerful even without the chains. The only chain power that's made for the Phantom Troupe is his Chain Jail. The other powers is for himself and he can use it whenever he wants. Just watch his feats against Uvogin.

Gon and Killua aren't exactly weak. They're powerful, it's just their inexperienced. You'll see for yourself later, and you already saw it in Greed Island.

About the character that appears in episode 76.

This all happened in the first episode of the manga/old anime. In a flashback. Gon entered the territory of the foxbear, and got his leg stuck there. The mother foxbear was gong to kill him, but he sliced it in half to save Gon. He then punched Gon in the face and told him "Are you stupid? Why are you here? Don't you see the mark on the tree? It's the foxbear's mark that if any animal saw would get out of here immediately as it's the foxbear's territory (something along those lines). He told Gon "didn't your parents teach you this?", and Gon replied that he doesn't have parents and that they died in a car accident. Kite was sorry for Gon. He was then going to kill the cub foxbear but then Gon protected it from Kite killing it. He said I have to kill it it's impossible to live as it's mother died and it will die of starvation, and if it lived, grow up in the mourn of the loss of its mother and might attack humans. Gon looked Kite in the eyes and realized something. He asked who's your dad, do you know anything about him, and Gon replied all I know is his name, Ging Freecss (or something). Kite said his dad is still alive and is the greatest hunter he knows. He then left Gon a license so that he can take the Hunter Exams or whatever don't really remember what it was, but he left a license sticking out on a tree. He then reached his aunt Mito and told her, but she said it's all lies until she confessed. Three years later, at nearly 12, Gon managed to get that fish and lift it which the top 5 strongest in the island couldn't manage to catch nor even lift it, and then he took the Hunter Exams.

Aside from the last 2 arcs in the series, the rest of the arc titles don't ruin the experience. One Piece arc titles are spoiler free as well for the most part (I can only think of a few that aren't) but it's not like the arc summarizes what is going to happen and we get obvious hints of the upcoming arcs right before it's going to end as well.

Yeah it's turning dark, ep 77 that big thing is eating kids :T_T: run!

He seems like a good character(spoiler).

You perfer Heavens Arena over York New? waaw thats all I can say :yeah:
Yup heavens arena > york new
greed island > york new
exam arc > york new.

The concept of york new was good but kurapika and other things was a turn off.

Dude, you're already done Greed island? Nice. For the Chimera ant arc, please make another thoughts thread from episode 77-87. The chimera ant arc deserves another thread, that's how good it is. XD

Now that i still have the whole arc fresh in my head i'ma say all the things about this anime that i did like.

The plot progression in this anime is really fantastic. It doesn't take AGES, like other animes, to get to the point where everything is more interesting.

The animation is good for it's release.

The main characters and supporting characters are great and well developed. Let me start off with Gon, he might be your typical knucklehead of every shounen but in my opinion, he's one of the best shounen mc that I've ever seen. Kurapika is a badass and likable. Leorio reminded me of Jiraya, good times. Killua is my favorite character so far because he's not hesitant to kill a person; and he actually like the MC and he consider Gon a friend (Learn sasuke please). Hisoka reminded me orochimaru, in a good way. He's actually a villain (i consider him a villain at this point) and hopefully he doesn't turn to be like *cough* kaguya *cough*.

The soundtrack is the strongest point of this anime which i'm loving. I really don't watch the openings nor the endings of many animes that i watch because the art is simply boring or the song is just crap. It reminded me of the parasyte's opening which i freaking love.

Enjoyment; so far i'm having a good time and i haven't felt like this since i watched higurashi, which is my favorite anime of all time. If HxH keep having a good pace like this i guess that HxH might get into my top 5 animes of all time. I see a good future in this.

Now onto the york arc, which a lot of people really love! I hope it's good!

Sorry if i misspell any words in this mini review, English is my second language *shudders*
You don't watch openings and endings? what horror?
Just stick to the anime for now would be my advice. Don't even think about going to the manga. The anime has a great end and I don't see togashi starting with the manga again any time soon, so the manga will leave you extremely dissatisfied, while the anime will give you a feeling of an amazing story ending in the right way.

I usually listen to it for 15 seconds, if it's not good i just skip it and go right to the episode. If i don't like the ending, i just skip it as well.

The ending of this arc was meh, the first one still the best so far because it sounds like parasyte's opening, which is dubstep sorta.

Oh, I thought you'll have a bigger reaction than that. xD It's cool though, up to what episode do you plan on watching today?
Well he had a death flag since the arc started :p

Dunno, maybe i'ma stop at ep 98 or 100. We'll see how it goes haha :)

By the way, it seems that every arc killua and gon look weaker and weaker.................... Killua used his assassin moves as well which i was pleased. 9O_O
