As the people who read The Breaker & The Breaker: New Waves probably know, The Breaker series is currently on a hiatus. TBNW has ended and the author decided to focus on a new series for the moment before he will begin with the third installment of TB series. Why he finds it necessary to divide them into separate parts with their own names despite there wasn't any kind of break storywise between TB and TBNW, is beyond me, but anyway as announced in the last chapter the series he would focus on would be called Action Idols - Age of Young Dragons.

When I saw the announcement I was quite disappointed at first because I like TB series and then it goes on hiatus for a new project which seemed to be something completely different. I mean idols? And he was justifying the hiatus of TB series because he wanted to do something different for a change, so I didn't really had high expectations for this series.

Well the first chapters just got released and in the end it's a marital arts manhwa again xd it seems to be more focused on the school life genre than TB though. I actually liked the first chapters, though he still has got that annoying habit of ending a chapter in a way it feels like halve of it mysteriously disappeared.

Has anyone else read them?

It's disappointing that they're delaying season three.

I've always enjoyed the series, even with the random way some chapters would end.

I agree with you, I was really disappointed that the message the author had left us. It almost felt like the middle finger, but I am no writer, so I don't know how hard it is to maintain a story like that, and perhaps he really did want to move forward with something else. This is me just selfishly venting the fact that I wanted The Breaker to continue onto it's third part right away, or at least as soon as possible, and not be paused by I dont know... a whole new other manhwa? >_<

Im really glad you made this thread, I had absolutely no reason or will to even read that new release. I had no idea what it was, I thought it was going to be about singing or something along those lines. But now that you mention it has martial arts, I am definitely going to give it a read. Once I do, I'll be sure to come back to this thread, thank you for the announcement, more or less.

Is it safe to assume Mangabase will be incorporating this manhwa to it's roster?

There are only two chapters so far (though they contain in total around 90 pages), so it's difficult to give an accurate image of what its primary focus will be, but as it is now it revolves around a high-class school where martial artists have a special status. If they make a name for themselves, they can be scouted by "clans" (not specified what those are, but I assume it are clans of martial artists) as action idols. So it's some kind of variation on the whole idol-business that's popular in Japan and I assume also in South-Korea, but instead of just "looks" it aims at "strength". The story follows two transfer students, a boy and a girl, who enrolled coincidently at the same time and thus do not have a connection with each other. Both have a martial arts background and both of them seem to have some kind of ulterior motive.

And it are Versuvio and Zise who decide things like that.
