When Sasuke uses EMS tech, he doesn't say, "Itachi, lend me your power!"

There is manga evidence of Naruto asking Kuruma to lend him some power.

Thats because itachi's power is infused with his own, he now uses itachi's power each time he utilize his dojutsu. Atleast Naruto can use his own power(No KCM), sasuke would have to deactivate his dojutsu to utilize his own power.

Asking for it and receiving it is not borrowing. Borrowing implies he's going to return the chakra back.

And as you can see, he uses it until it's gone. Not to mention the dude has a contract with Kurama.

Actually they have a link where Kuramas chakra and Narutos is link so Kurama just constantly supplies it...It's the same as borrowing when you don't own it.

He had to train his MS skill first, fight 5 Kages with 0 intel (> Pain), and he had to train his Sharingan for +3years before unlocking MS, in contrast Naruto was traveling the world with his teacher stalking women

Even though Itachi wouldn't kill him Sasuke still would've suffered fatal wounds if he didn't take the fight seriously (i.e : Amaterasu), Pain was nerfed than Itachi btw.

And it was a big deal for Sasuke to train under Orochimaru because having his body taken would have meant all his efforts were for nothing, he grew a pair to reach his ambitions, Naruto needed support for crying over his friend.

Even if kurama still gives chakra it still doesn't take away the fact that:
Sasuke got CS from Oro
Got EMS cuz he got Itachi's eyes
Got Rinnegan from Hago

Sasuke's major powers come from other sources other than his own. Just like Naruto. I really don't see the issue
