Adam's mother was a very loving woman, she loved her family and most of all she loved Adam so she was impeccable as both a Fraust and a mother. When he was young Adam and his mother did everything together, and his mother would do anything for him. One day a great impurity overtook the Frozen ember and his mother almost lost her life. At that point it became very real to Adam's mother what her eventuality was and if she was careless what legacy she would be passing down to her son if she wasn't careful.
"I am sure that Adam has told u about Frausts. There responsibilities and their inevitable end, the Frausts are seen as a noble existence , ppl that give up thier lives willingly to benefit the life of all of Nilfheim. Well, that is a lie. Frausts have no choice in the matter. Once the Frozen ember is in need they will sacrifice their life even if they must be forced. So what do you think she did?"
" No, She barricaded herself in the temple to pay the utmost attention to her duty as Fraust. She would only see her family on a monthly basis and she would write many letters, but for no reason at all would she ever leave the temple. She thought that maybe if she kept the flame at bay then she could allow Adam to grow up without having to worry about the fate of the Frausts, maybe she could spare her child of this fate all together. She worked diligently with that motivation in mind.
Adam however saw it differently. He thought that his mother had chosen her position over him. Eventually he decided to stop reading her letters, and he reasoned that if she didn't care enough about him to come and see him herself then he didn't want to see her either so he stopped visiting. Even when informed of this Adam's mother persisted in her efforts all for the sake of her son..................All that effort.............All that sacrifice.......only amounted to two years. After two years Adam's mother of working, tending to the flame nonstop, she was forced to give up her life and have her son continue her burden"

Taki:" well, it would be great if things were that simple. Nilfheim will send forces against us, and as long as the frozen ember's heart exists it can still be revived. Not only that, but Adam wants to put a stop to this completely. When he learned of mother's deeds back then it nearly broke him. He read all the letters that she had sent him before and we actually managed to find his mother's statue in the temple.....She had spears pierced through her body to put her in the praying position like the others and her face wore a mortified expression covered in tears. The last words she wrote to Adam was an apology. Adam won't forgive them or himself for his mother's fate. Also, not to put on and undue stress on you, but if we fail u could be the next one to share her fate. That room we found Adam's mother in was full of ppl just like that."
