I'll believe you if you post a scan, because I've jus re-watched the fights and he was resisting but he didn't break out. Shikamaru runs out of chakra quite fast. He uses it as an advantage to stall and come up with a plan.

But the more resistant the more he would have to increase his limit , making it useless

With enough Brute Force, you can tire out the shadow user by making him exert too much chakra and break his shadow technique.

Brute Force wins this battle unless a third ally is involved.

..And my point is that you can resist/outlast it but can't break out. To give an answer on your thread: Yes, I believe you can resist and outlast Shadow Possesion. Especially with Sakura's strength. However, stalling works in Shikamaru's advantage. (That's a different topic though).

See its funny because I never said that Kakazu and Hidan are physically stronger than Sakura as your seeming to imply I did. I said that they can defeat Sakura one on one in a battle but you seem to think otherwise for no apparent reason.

honestly, femme you need to understand that any character that doesn't forget how to breathe or doesn't have a weakness for air(manga fact we saw sakura getting negged by air/dust) will always be above sakura.

literally when fighting sakura all u have to do is stand there and wait till she passes out from lack of oxygen, or if she passes out because of the air. comprende?

Brute strength alone was rarely enough to break out of it. The only instances of that happening have been in situations where the brute strength in question was over 9000 (Tsunade, the Stupid Brothers, etc). In every other instance, the enemy has shown abnormal chakra or otherwise, a feat beyond simple brute strength.

Hidan and Kakuzu: Are immortal. The reason for that is also the reason why they break out.
Naruto and Gaara: Break through due to their strong chakra.
Tayuya: Broke out with the Cursed Seal's chakra (i.e. Sage Chakra)

Shikaku is dead. Shikamaru probably succeeded him as clan leader. He also surpassed his dad, showing the ability to use his jutsu without even performing as seal. At this point, I don't think even Hidan, Kakuzu, Tayuya or even Tsunade would be able to break out. Supporting this argument is the fact that all known Kages' senior advisors have been S-Rank / Kage-level. Shikamaru being the current advisor to the Hokage means he would be that level too.

Hence, being unable to break out of his jutsu is no shame for the likes of Sakura. There's no need for Femme to be workup up (and firing on all cylinders) over this.
