if i was obito id probably have done what he did too. true love isn't something you can just be like " eh ill find another one". especially when your an orphan and your best friend(only friend) is the one who broke the promise and killed her. is it wrong? obviously. but if i was him, id say **** this world too, and if i had the power to change the world, id do that too.

There would have still been a plot. Madara and Black Zetsu were still devising evil in the shadows. Plus all the other additional ninja world issues plus conflict and wat. We may have gotten a better manga without all the rin nonsense.

The puppet curse seal will prevent or make him kill himself, and the chakra/black rods Madara put in his body will control him completely.
Especially him being that age and Madara being hooked up to the mazou.
