It's just the force of her punch. It's totally different when you're destroying something with your chakra, in Tobirama's case, or Sakura's case, which she increases her muscle power, than creating a pushing force like ST.
And only those with potent chakra have shown to be able to create shockwaves, like Naruto.

First thread from you that's actually good, Femme. It makes sense. She releases precise chakra from her body to perform those feats. It is possible. I would only agree on the punch shock-wave though that is like ST's. Beyond that, it's a bit of a speculation.

Thank you someone gets it, Not that she would really have to use it, Except to get out of poison gas bombs, or water domes.

The tree climbing exercise proves that Sakura doesn't need to punch to to release a super punch, and she needs it contact.

Sakura can if she uses her humongous forehead to headbutt the air resulting into producing shockwaves.
Because Mafdara closed his trap and they moved forward, and the rest managed to burn her. They didn't vanish. That's how chakra expelled from mouth works. As soon as the mouth is closed, the technique ends.

Shrina tensei is force (gravity), it's not a shockwave.
Shockwave is just air pressure, that's what Neji's air palm essentially is.
So the gravity that keeps you planted down on the earth, imagine that gravity pulling or pushing you side ways.
That's shrina tensei for you.

her skill lies separated from the realm of tactical ninjutsu.
her control is a fine application that can only produce crude results - errant shockwaves & linearly compressed energy waves.
