Hashirama's claim is pretty baseless because as you said, He knew nothing of Tsunades Prime/Current strength levels.
As for the second claim, I believe tsunade most likely can replicate that feat but since we never saw tsunade go all out on punching the ground like sakura did but i cannot prove it, I guess it's my assumption.

Also the second claim doesn't mean she surpassed her. By feats she has surpassed tsunades punching strength and over all chakra levels, Tsunade still has superior Medical Skill and a better all around fighter.

Current "Adult" sakura should be stronger but lacks feats to prove it. Also depends if she went full house wife mode after the war or actually continued training
