I want to go to europe and i was wondering which language is the most convinient language to use besides the english, i am native of the spanish and also speak fluently english, also speak french but i'm not really fluent and i know just a little bit of german, so in your opinion which lenguage would be the most useful if i wanted to go there, and by europe i not only mean uk and france but also east europe and so.

So what's your opinion?

I'm assuming English since the tourist places probably know that.

Since you're spanish. You could go to Portugal. Spanish and Portuguese and very similar.

You'll need to speak Latin. All the European lenguagues (pronounced Leng-goo-agh-away) are based on it.

Can't speak for Eastern Europe but you'll do fine with English. Besides that, the second most popular language is French. Italian and Portuguese are part of the Romance language family though.

English in Spain and Italy is non that common. They are pretty bad at it, there are exceptions to the rule 'tho but anyone grasps a bit of it.

You are fine with your English, Spanish and that knowledge of French.

I've been to France. That's not true. They don't like Americans and will dislike anybody that speaks
English (even if they're not necessarily American) in general. A lot of them pretend not to know
English when they do. You're actually better off trying to speak Mandarin Chinese to the French
than English.

With English you should be good. Then just pick up little things like, "Hi" or " Where's the restroom" basic small talk and question stuff. Because I've learned they respect you more if you make an effort to learn their language, I've been many places and this is always the case.

No, that's not true.

I've covered the north and south of France, and the majority have been fine with English. Some are more open to people who make an effort to try and use a little French but few are so disinclined to be responsive to English-only speakers. But that's how it goes in any country.

OP: Hate to be the bearer of bad news but.. Your English isn't fluent. Work on perfecting that instead.
