No, that's not true.

I've covered the north and south of France, and the majority have been fine with English. Some are more open to people who make an effort to try and use a little French but few are so disinclined to be responsive to English-only speakers. But that's how it goes in any country.

OP: Hate to be the bearer of bad news but.. Your English isn't fluent. Work on perfecting that instead.

Thanks for the feedback but i was referring to spoken english, though written is a different case, sometimes i can say something with the right pronunciation but when i write it down is a whole different thing, guess that's because my first language spanish is more straighforward in pronounciation regards and has very few exceptions unlike english and that kind of causes me trouble when writting down things.

But i think that one just never stops learning a language, even if i'm a native of spanish there's always new words i can learn of the spanish and i think the same applies for those other languages that i learned later on. I try to practice as much as posibble my english and french though i´m paying very little attention to german since i don't quite get some things yet.
