She kicked it wide open though.
They werent as deep as the cuts Orochimaru gave her but pretty deep.
Obviously they lose if Bee and Naruto went full power however my only point is Tsunade is being portrayed to at least contend with them.

To add on to Portrayal.
- She is also the most accomplished of the Sanin

1. No. She's accomplished, but she's by no means the most accomplished. Jiraya has far better feats and Orochimaru's natural talent was clearly the most among the Sannin.
2. Clearly not. Orochimaru was Hiruzen's preference for his heir as hokage. Additionally, simply being a 3rd-generation student of Jiraya alone is enough to be considered a hokage candidate (Kakashi). Does she deserve the most respect? It's arguable, but it's evident that her name does not carry the power of the others.
3. More or less invalid given that all her peers within the sannin were also given the opportunity, but declined due to a lack of interest, not due to incapability.
4. What war? Be more specific. I'm assuming you're talking about the 3rd great ninja war, but Minato also had a heavy hand in it. She was clearly a big part, but so was Minato.
5. Jiraya certainly did, not sure about Orochimaru.

2. Hiruzen saw himself in Orochimaru (wanting to learn more and more jutsus), just like Kakashi favored Sasuke at the start, did that mean Sasuke > Naruto? no. Tsunade from the start was never interested in the Hokage title, and when she was in the village she was going for Dan to be Hokage. When Orochimar and Jiraiya were considered for Hokage, Tsunade wasn't in the village, nobody knew where she was. She was done with the village. Only an idiot would've tried to make her hokage after she had left the village.

And furthermore, countering poison by chiyo easily. Ok, but that says "greatly" not "the main cause." Still an excellent feat, but King Hashirama's over hyping it.

1."Accomplished" means highly trained or skilled. You're talking about accomplishments. In that area, Jiraya was a spy that gave intel against the Akatsuki, meaning that without him, Konoha wouldn't have had any intel on the organization other than "there's a bunch of random people attacking us." Orochimaru created an entire village from scratch, assassinated the 4th Kazekage, manipulated a village, and was the cause of Hiruzen's death. Checkmate.
2. "You said "she was the most respected of the sannin." You're attempt at shifting it to Naruto VS Sasuke is absolutely pointless since yes, Sasuke did have more respect. As for the hokage position, the fact is, all you can do is make guesses.

4. "Countering Chiyo easily" is a baseless overstatement. In reality, we have no indication of the amount of difficulty she had, only that she did counter her.
5. No he wasn't. He was negotiating so that he could operate on Tsunade. He was reassuring Katsuyu that she always has the option of killing him if he's suspicious. It's not different than saying "hey, you can kill me when I turn my back."

1. nitpicking nice.. Sorry nothing Orochimaru and Jiraiya have compare to Tsunade making the medical ninjutsu system. No amount of spying by Jiraiya or creation of jutsus is going to make them close to Tobirama creating the organizational system of the villages. They did their jobs good for them. Tsunade created a section that never existed before.
2. idk how you got "naruto vs Sasuke".. out of Kakashi favoring Sasuke over Naruto.. which was to simply counter Hiruzen favoring Orochimaru. Fact is Tsunade became the hokage, despite having no desire.. and the others didn't.
3. They can't be given the hype if they never became Hokage. The hype is BEING the hokage. :yeah: Danzo also nearly became Hokage.. but guess what only the strongest from his generation was able be Hokage.
4. On what basis are you claiming it is baseless? Is Sakura countering Sasori's poison in couple of minutes also basless?
