Three yasaka magatama at point blank range. Magatama are strong enough to almost break the sand and rock defense of Gaara and Onoki. She is then thrown back hard breaking rocks.

Yes the Magatama are not the same size however if you scale the two different situations the smaller magatama should have cut into Tsunade like the bigger ones did to the defense.

II. Speed and Reactions
Tsunade has never been called slow, her speed has never been referenced. The only time was when Madara said 'She was slower than the Raikage' but I mean if you are slower than a cheetah is that really bad? She has the feats that show she can pretty much react and keep up with Kage level opponents.

Orochimaru comes down high speed towards Naruto with his blade in his mouth, now looking from the tip of the blade he is very close to Tsunade who is able to react and from a sitting position jump over Naruto and take the blade.

Now look how close Orochimaru is to Naruto, Tsunade from a relaxed flat on her back poistion is able to flip over and cover Naruto. Then in the same scan after Orochimaru kicks her over Naruto she is able to punch him in the face while Orochimaru is looking straight at her. (She did this with all the cuts Orochimaru gave her)

She was able to cross that whole distance to the epicenter of Konoha in the time that the pain clones were summoned.

Look at the distance between Madara and Tsunade, now imagine Madara being higher than that because of Mei's suiton pushing it up. Tsunade jumps from that point and lands a hit on the susano in the air.

First the background, not a regular background obviously showing this panel in slow motion like

But you dont even need the background panel to see that, but simply seeing the how Tsunade's fist is breaking into Madara's body should be enough to show you she is simply breaking into him first hardly adding enough force to push his body. Again not to mention she was not pushing his body since she was going through him.

Then his hair is flying forward, that punch was again going through him so there was no reason for his hair to fly forward like so if he wasnt already jumping back trying to dodge.

Tsunade reacts before Ay, Gaara's sand, Mei's suiton, and Onoki's doton and jumps high at Madara. First you see how far Madara is from the gokage, then I show how close Madara was to Tsunade and then you get that same distance from a different perspective.

This is overlooked so much when people talk about her reaction, speed, and taijustu feats.

  • She breaks a susano sword in half with a chop
  • Pushes it out of her gut
  • Grabs it from behind
  • Smashes it into Madara
All of this in mere seconds.​

III. Physical prowess/Close Quarters Combat
First I would like to mention that all of Tsunade's strength feats in part 1 were accomplished while she was rusty. Its clear she was rusty because after throwing a few punches against Kabuto

Now imagine Part 2-In Shape Tsunade use 4 fingers and dig into the ground, that crack extends and expands exponentially. The one in the panel, Naruto fit into the crack so Tsunade can make people fall into cracks.

Tsunde using just her arms lifted Gamabunta's sword so high in the air Manda the giant snake couldnt even see it coming. Tsunade was only able to use her arms because of how the sword was positioned in the ground, in the air she was able to maneuver it to slam into Manda. Then right after she grabs Orochimaru's tongue and drags him.

Tsunade has cutting power as well, with a straight chop she cuts right through the thickness of the Susano sword. As she brings the sword down on Madara she dents his manifestation.

She was able to smack fire back, fire which is not a solid, yes it had a physical form but it was still not a solid. The power and force behind her arms was able to push the fire back.

Its a medical tool and can be the most precise blade. Tsunade cutting through Naruto's

By transforming the chakra within one's body and giving it the properties of electricity, one creates an electric field. By pouring this into the nervous system of one's opponent, one deranges their body control! An extremely high-level technique, used as a medical ninjutsu. The human body is controlled with electrical signals from the brain, but a person who had those electrical signals cut off with this technique will become unable to make their body move as they want. Because she's an expert in medical treatments, Tsunade was able to master this technique.

She changes her chakra into electricity(Raiton) and creates an electrical field. Since the nervous system is throughout the whole body she can pretty much send this electrical field into the body from anywhere and signals will get crossed. One touch and you are done. Adding to the fact that her arms can move very quickly, she is very dangerous in close quarters combat.

This is not regular raiton that numbs the body, there is no numbness here, this raiton confuses the body, the only way to get out of it is to reconfigure your body and figure out how to move again instead of waiting for the numbness to subside. Even after figuring out how to move, you still are

During the pain arc she had enough

Back during the second great Shinobi war Tsunade along with Jiraiya and Orochimaru very early in their shinobi careers fought Hanzo and gained his praise the Sannin.

Can she Handle Speed?

Something that people never take into account when judging Tsunade's abilities. Katsuyu's sheer size alone gives the win to Tsunade in many match ups.

Main text

A highly concentrated acidic paste is suddenly released from the mouth! The acid boasts such high density and concentration it dilutes even stone, vaporizing it! There are no setup moves to do before this jutsu's activation. Thanks to this one can easily strike, catching the enemy unawares, which has the advantage of denying them any opportunity to dodge.

-The acidic rain is spilled out all of a sudden, with a timing that won't even allow for anticipation! All things it touches will melt away, losing their shapes once and for all (tn: confusing sentence: I don't know if I got it 100% right).

Used with division imagine a bunch of Katsuyu clones shooting acid from every direction, the opponent has no escape. Due to its suddenness its very hard to dodge already.

Look at the amount of acid she is able to spray, it looks like a little compared to Boss Summons but against a little human body its a lot. Look at her range, Manda was across from her she was able to shoot acid across that distance. Compare the boulder it melted, look how big the boulder is compared to Manda's tail. Anyone stupid enough to get near Katsuyu will be melted indefinitely.

Capturing her is impossible already! Because she is a boneless mollusk, she has a fantastical ability to transform at will, that of deciding to divide her whole body or to reunite it. The enemy will just exhaust themselves accordingly and eventually fall to the ground.

to Tsunade she can pretty much be a radar for Tsunade as she can tell her when an opponent has entered her liquid radius since she will feel them.

This can also be used to quickly move to one place, she can deconstruct and move as a liquid faster than she could in her slug form. It took her seconds to cover the battlefield.

Also if an opponent comes near her she can deconstruct and drown them out.

Durability
Katsuyu is very durable and can absorb people her in, she can pretty be a meat shield for Tsunade against any attack as even if she dies she doesnt really die. Tsunade summoned her to protect the citizens in Konoha and Katsuyu absorbed the impact from CST so it does not really matter what happens to Katsuyu.

This Chakra is very corrosive and acidic as seen by Orochimaru's snake decomposing/metling and then Naruto's skin melting off. Look at all the damage caused by the 3 tails powering up and a little Katsuyu clone was in the middle of all of it.

Red lines represent the ground level at which Konoha used to be and you can clearly see the gigantic crater it made. It literally dug deep down into the ground definitely hitting all those spots Katsuyu was in, as seen in the red boxes from the previous images above.

Mobility/Speed

As already stated Katsuyu can deconstruct and travel fast across the ground as a liquid and when she splits her parts quickly can come back together. (See Division and Liquefying above)

Countering Genjustu

As long as Katsuyu is on Tsunade's shoulder or as long as Tsunade is on Katsuyu she can constantly break her out of genjustu since Katsuyu directly pours chakra into whoever she is on which would break the person in a genjustu out.

Also this could possible work without Tsunade needing to be touching Katsuyu since she does have a telepathic connection(See Telepathic Connection with Tsunade above) with her she could easily break her out in the same way Bijuus break out their Jins.




That is pretty much everything I have ever put together in regards to Tsunde's abilities + some new stuff. Now all in one thread!

Impressive Tsunade is def the strongest female character in the series well,for now. Maybe Sarada will take the crown.

That main heroine can do everything Tsunade can at a WAYYYYYYYYY younger age (17), without any genetic advantages.

Accidentally disliked. Good analysis overall, but I disagree with the "Ay thinks they could take 2 jins" argument. It doesn't matter what they think they could do, because they can be wrong, and given how powerful both B and Naruto are when serious, they most likely are.
