Naruto said many times before that he didn't want the easy fail proof path he wanted to find a way to navigate the rough path and find true peace. This is the rough path, people will still suffer but it's about pushing on and holding onto hope and working towards a better future. Unlike Madara and Obito who decided there was no hope and the only logical thing to do was force everyone into a false perfect world. As you can see there are still criminals like the new Akatsuki that need to be dealt with, but the world is definitely in a much better position that it was before the world united against Obito and Madara and Naruto became Hokage. He is slowly fixing the world and I'm assuming well see this process more in depth in Gaiden and the Boruto movie.

This is unbelievably sad.

It's like a Disney story showing Cinderella living happily ever after, but then, even after everyone thought that was the final ending an enjoyed it a lot, Disney releases a sequel showing she's become schizophrenic and her sons dying of sadness.
