You just can't assume Sasuke worked hated without proof and expect for us to believe it.. In the last Sasuke was 19 years old, that two years younger than Itachi when he died... Sasuke was at the pinnacle of his powers 2 years younger than the itchi you give so much praise to.
Actually it took him 4 years to master rasengan.
Same goes for shadow clone.
yagura is the youngest perfect jin, killer b was also younger than him when he became perfect jin.
we don't know how long it took for minato, jman or hashirama to master sm so that's baseless.
Itachi is fiver years older than Sasuke, don't you think that could be the reason why Itachi was better at everything?? In the last Sasuke was 2 years younger than Itachi when he died and Sasuke was better than him at everything.

If the effect is the same, the execution doesn't matter, which is why he mastered it. If it was easy, someone else would find another way to do it. Which no one did.
True rasengan usage requires no seals of any sort. That was the purpose behind the technique. That's mastery. He didn't do that until late 4th world war. 4 years after he learned it. Dame goes for clones. It purpose was to send info back to original and a form of recon. He didn't know that until 3 years after despite extensive use.
Learn=/= mastery.

The entirety of Naruto's skill set and tactics all fall in the line of hard core and intense training, aside from the powerup given by Hagoromo and Bijuu Mode.
Before I even make a deep analysis, Naruto would never have had the stamina/chakra to pull most of these techniques off by himself. His own chakra was mixed in with Kurama's, so at an early stage he was already being pumped by the Kyuubi thanks the 4th. Naruto was never really born a genius, he was just born lucky in a sense. Always given the right pieces in play.
Shadow clones > Naruto had to train for hours (or was it all day and night?) just to master the technique.
Rasengan > Do I have to explain why this technique took such an ample amount of time? It lasted the entire Hokage retreival mission arc just for him to learn it, and mind you he only peformed it once at the last minute before the arc itself ended.
Summoning Jutsu > His first try he summoned a tadpole, and it took quite a while for him to master the technique, and even that he could not do without Kurama's chakra.
Rasenshuriken > Same with the Rasengan except watered down due to the shadow clone method, he still had to train incredibly
Time skip > Mastering his already known skills to a new level.
Rasenshuriken > Self explantory
Sage Mode > Self Explantory
KCM > Could not do without the help of his mother, and Killer Bee.
Shushin (KCM) > Had to get used to moving at incredible high speeds
Bijuu Mode + Sage Mode > Did not come "naturally" --It wasn't hard to begin with, Kurama noted that it did not work earlier because Kurama would not synch his body with Ma and Pa. Though now that Kurama trusted him, you can understand the rest.
BIjuudama > He trained throughout the War Arc, and that mastery applies when he learned BM. It wasn't instantly granted, Naruto had to master the chakra ratios.
Most of Sasuke's training in Part 2 came from MS/EMS - Mind you, that was not really training at all.
Exactly Lol
Ashura was a failure, he needed the help of cooperation to even match his brother.
Shadow Clone: Naruo had to train for hours? WOW, this is a jounin level technique he really shouldn't of been able to do it at all, especially since he couldn't even do the regular clone jutsu. It makes no sense. If he was a random kid with no talent he might not have ever been able to do this technique let alone learn it in a few hours. This technique should probably take weeks or even months to learn for average shinobi. Yet Naruto learns it in a couple hours.
Rasengan: The technique did not take "ample time" Naruto learned it in a week, Naruto MASTERED shape manipulation in a week something only 5 people in the entire series has done and he did it faster than everyone. Even the supposed genius Sasuke hasn't been shown to have this level of mastery of shape manipulation.
Sage Mode: He fully mastered it, unlike Jiraiya, and his genius father Minato, which proves Naruto's talent in sage techniques trumps Jiraiyas and Minato's but Naruto isn't a genius?
Ashura: Ashura always had the same potential as Indra even Hagoromo said that after he finished training, he awakened a power EQUAL to his brothers, it's like the characters in this manga and the people on these forums don't understand the concept of a late bloomer. Just because you are a late bloomer doesn't mean you are not a genius. Naruto/Ashura are late bloomers they have slow starts, but once they train a little bit their full potential comes out and they start surpassing eveyone around them.
You are confused between what Kishi is telling us and what he is showing us. Kishi tells us Naruto is a no talent loser who will have to work extremely hard for everything he will get in life. Kishi Shows us Naruto mastering jutsu's and skills much faster than the people who came before him and his peers, and he takes those skills to level's even the genius's couldn't hope to accomplish yet kishi wants us to believe that Naruto isn't a genius? Yeah, right. If Kishi really wanted to tell an hardworking underdog story Rock Lee should have been the protagonist. Or Naruto should of had the same handicaps as Lee then i would believe it.
Naruto didn't even know what elements were.It was a subject he had known nothing about, much less could actually do.

And it's not neccessarily about having a teacher or not.Naruto learned his elememt so quickly because of his Shadow clone usage. At 7 years old,Naruto would not be able to use Shadow Clones like he did in part 2 to be able to learn so quickly, and even if 7 year old Naruto could. He would be doing it with many clones thus cutting down the time, instead of learning it himself like Sasuke did.
Sasuke learned the Fireball Jutsu in a week on his own. All his Dad did was show him the seals to use,and give a brief description on how to release the technique. He didn't teach him how to manipulate Fire Nature.
This and the few pages.

And later,Sasuke learned Lee's Highspeed Taijutsu in 2 weeks on top of learning to use his 2nd nature element enough to Master the Chidori in 2 weeks while dealing with the CM,having to worry about Orochimaru, and having Gaara's creepy ass interrupt his training.
This was during the month break between the preliminaries, and the finals.I say two weeks because at the beginning of chapter 93 it says,"15 days since the start of training".

Then later in the chapter we see Sasuke, and Kakashi, and Kakashi says,"So you're finally here"Thus implying Sasuke showed up to training for the first time with only 15 days left.
He mastered the 3rd stage of the Rasengan in a week.Remember he used the incomplete version of the Rasengan on Tsunade, then sue made a bet with him to see if he could master it in a week?

Itachi grew up in a war... Meaning he needed to learn faster causing him to activate his sharingan quicker.. Sasuke activate his sharingan the very first time he faced real danger against Itachi.. There's no evidence proofing Itachi was better other than being fiver years older.

The age difference doesn't matter, nor does the speed of the learning curve. It's about ability but this is something that doesn't have a definite answer or a fact.
But the effect isn't the same. Naruto using clones defeats the purpose and point behind rasengan.
Naruto not learning from his clones defeats the point behind shadow clone.
It's like saying naruto mastered frs when he still couldn't throw it.
I didn't say Sasuke was stronger, I said he was better.. Itachi maybe have more skills at Genjutsu but he still can't win a Genjutsu battle against Sasuke.

The effect is the same because the opponent is damaged in the same way as he would by a one-handed version. It's the same effect via another way. Shadow clones are means to get to that desired effect. Evidently, that didn't really diminish Rasengan's performance.
