@Riker Jozu is the type of idiot fighter who decides to ignore an admiral infront of him to worry about a comrade taking a hit despite the fact his regenerative abilities make him immune to hits, so i don't know what you mean by Jozu always being serious

Either way, taking heavy damage isn't insignificant.

How does that translation change the fact that Luffy has also been weakened by taking damage?

Quite a bit = a little = slightly = insignificant

Luffy: same goes for you ... I think it's meant Doffy on same situation with Luffy, because Luffy didn't said ... still better than you ...

They are both on par in terms of injuries. Bogard misunderstood the definition of "quite a bit".

quite a bit means considerable damage, doffy healed himself but obviously in a worse condition than luffy but not by astronomical amounts , the whole point of that panel of them two talking of their injuries is the fact that they both sustained decent amount of damage its not there for no reason. ppl will like to do anything to not give credit to luffy he is close to approaching doffy's level not there but should be close.

This is the real translation:
Actually, that's not fair to say. Your comrade is immune to hits due to regenerative abilities, but it was clear his abilities were not working. For one, Jozu could clearly see the Seastone cuffs on him, Marco even yelled out about it. Secondly, he could see the blood spurting from Marco's body and the wounds, and hear Marco cry out, so him taking his eye off of the Admiral makes sense because he could see Marco was in danger.

They are both on par in terms of injuries. Bogard misunderstood the definition of "quite a bit".

No, they are not. The amount of damage Doffy has taken>the amount of damage Luffy has taken.

I know right? The nerve of some people, assuming Doffy can leave Jozu immobile because of a panel where Doffy left him immobile.

Seriously, in a fight between Jozu and Doffy, it wouldn't have gone differently. Doffy was able to ensnare Jozu while Jozu was charging to attack. That shows that Doflamingo has the reaction speed and capability to use Parasite on Jozu while he's attacking, so it's not like you can say "If Jozu charges at him offensively, Parasite won't work"; it worked while he was charging offensively. Doffy doesn't need Jozu to be distracted either because he stopped Jozu before he got to Crocodile's spot, meaning he cut him off mid-charge. Even if he did, Black Knight works perfectly for just that, as well as the ability to fly.

Which part of "off guard" do u not understand? Mihawk tried to attack someone like luffy with an normal attack but was stopped in dead tracks by someone on the level of corodile, then give me this why do u think that Mihawk is still a top-tier and can curbstomp croc even though mihawks hit was stopped by someone as weak as croc, the same case is here Jozu charged offensively at crocodile but was caught off guard in a battlefield with thousand and thousand of people with a lot of hax u cannot maintain ur guard at that point he had no idea of doflamingos presence at all, even Jozu itself was able to make Aokiji bleed attacking him while aokiji had his hands full with WB or a lot of other cases where u can catch someone off guard guard due to the nature of the ability, in a 1v1 that is never happening unless u think someone like Law is stronger than Jozu then im done with this.

Not even close. The grand total of damage Luffy took that wasn't done by Doffy during this arc were:
1. In the colosseum hours ago that left him just tired, which no longer applies since he ate and had plenty of time to rest
2. Being punched around by Bellamy, who is far below his level.

Doffy has had his organs torn to shreds, being pushed to the brink of death. Luffy has not received as much as damage as Doffy, he's just so far below Doffy that the insignificant damage he took left him in a state that can contend with an almost mortally wounded Doffy.

I said before Gamma Knife. The punches from Bellamy and the energy he expended fighting up the plateau is easily comparable to the damage Doffy received before Luffy's arrival.

Nope. You said "Since Gamma Knife, they've started their fight with equal damage." That means the amount of damage Luffy has received is the same as the damage Doffy has received, including Gamma Knife, which simply isn't true. Since Gamma Knife, Doffy was reduced to an inch of death, laying on the ground and dropped to his knees, barely able to move. Luffy hasn't even come halfway close to that damage.

Excluding Gamma Knife, Luffy has taken more damage. The only damage Doffy took aside from Gamma Knife were Law's Mes, the Red Hawk, and Injection Shot. One was a scratch on the cheek that's gone, the other was determined to be superficial and only dropping Doffy because of the surprise attack that it was, and the last didn't do any better. Luffy, on the other hand, was beaten up by Doflamingo, Black Knight, and Bellamy. While Doffy's and Black Knight's beatings did damage, Bellamy is too far below Luffy to be considered that significant, though it did leave its dent. These are what refer to the heavy damage Luffy has taken, not the plateau, especially since most of the travelling on the plateau wasn't even done by Luffy's body itself.

this ^. oda is realistic meaning even the top tier can be startled in the right conditions similar to when croc cuts akainu that would never happen in 1v1.

I had a really hard time reading this @-@

Anyways, Jozu was charging towards Crocodile with the intention of offensively attacking him. While the level of strength Jozu was using to combat Crocodile can be reasonably assumed to be much less than his full strength, that doesn't mean that Jozu won't be affected by Parasite. Charging at Crocodile, charging at Doflamingo, they're still the same action, just towards different people and perhaps different levels of force packed into them. Fact of the matter is, Jozu got caught while offensively charging, it's not like he was standing still picking flowers. That shows that Doflamingo can catch Jozu while Jozu is attacking. You bring up Aokiji, but interestingly, while Jozu could make him bleed a little, Jozu was incapacitated by a weaker version of the technique that Doflamingo could break out of, which again hints superiority. If brute strength is all it takes for Jozu to render Parasite ineffective, why didn't he just flex his muscles and use it to break out? All we've seen so far hints to Jozu being inferior to Doflamingo overall, but with greater defense due to diamond and much higher strength.

LOL the irony of this thread,

Wank squad - "Doffy was injured, on a level field luffy would be defeated"

Wank squad in a different thread - "WB was injured? Top tier's don't have injuries and health issues you morons."

why are you comparing Akainiu wankers to Doffy wanker???? The point of a wanker is that they don't use logic.....so what's the point of posting the lack of it???
PS the first group of wankers don't lack too much logic but the second one has no logic at all....

It matters because the people saying doffy was injured are actually also the ones who wank the admirals. So the Irony is that their logic is perfectly intact when it comes to all the other OP charachters but talk about an admiral and wow they start it hard lol

It's insignificant when compared to that of Joker. No one in his right mind would think Luffy's damage is anywhere near that of Joker. Luffy took a few attacks from someone who was weaker than himself. Bellamy was already half dead and needless to say that Luff was using haki to defend from Bellamy which reduces the amount of damage Luffy takes form Bellamy.

If he is above Jozu in every department of strength why did he never intent to use parasite in someone like Law? U people mostly take into action that panel to say doflamingo is stronger but tend to ignore anything Jozu has shown during the war and him fighting admirals in equal footing and even being able to lift up probably the best physical strength feat on the manga, wether u assume it or not charging at an weaker opponent with a weaker attack and against an stronger opponent is completely different, we had the same case with Mihawk during the war, Kizaru with rayleigh etc and on top of it as I said the lack of parasite being used on anyone significant further proves my point that parasite works only on off guard people or who are way weaker then doflamingo, unless u think Jozu is bellamy level of course.

I brought up Aokiji as a sign of why can even a top-tier be caught off guard by someone weaker let alone being struck by hax, mostly people tend to underrate hax in the manga, Jora itself said that amateurs can be reduced to "that" when facing young master but if sanji had knowledge over his ability I dont think he would be beaten like that and why would Aokiji's hit against Jozu be a weaker version than that against doflamingo, that's completely basseles Doflamingo was literally frozen by a no name attack while hands in pocket Aokiji and was huffing his heart out, Jozu was freeze only when he was distracted due to Marcos injury and Aokijis hit had direct contact with Jozu resulting in freezing him with his hand, literally the attack doflamingo was struck by was more of a freezing wind, pretty much its clear that Jozus portrayal against Aokiji is way better then doflamingos, one was beaten only due to distraction while the other gave up on even trying to lift a finger.
