[Discussion] What's your parents' reaction to anime?

Thought this was an interesting topic to bring about so yeah.

In my case, my parents really don't see the point of it but also don't shove their yellings down my throat and force me away from anime. They just generalize the whole medium as "Naruto" and rest with that impression till today, lol.

My dad, oddly enough, use to watch them with me because he liked when they showed boobies. My mom would roll her eyes and go on about her business XD

I live in Southeast Europe, anime here is something very few people know about. My parents are in their 40's and they never heard of it. Also we were a communist country until 1989, there weren't such things on tv back then, even after that.

My mom knows of Naruto because after every chapter i would review it to her. And due to crazy moments we have all seen . lol but that al there is to it

Lml I made my my mom watch Elfen lied and death note, she really enjoyed it (i never watched it with her, she watched it herself after I gave her some episodes along with some movies). Dad on the other hand, I think i'd rather pass cuz he gets funky over anything he see's related to anime.
