They don't give a ****. They treat it as an ordinary T.V. show and the only complaint they've ever made was when they think I'm watching too much of it, when in reality, I have only watched a few series and don't plan to follow any more new series.

My parents love Miyazaki movies but don't care much for anime. They don't mind me liking it though cause they saw me watching it since I was 7 years old.

My mother actually knows about anime and doesn't care much that I watch it but at first she thought it was nasty porn because my brother use to watch the ones with shots of boobs and panties every 3 seconds so I had to explain that I don't watch stuff like that. She likes to connect with other parents with "otaku" kids and stuff XD

She came to me one day and was all excited "Hey! Do you know they have an anime club at your school! Join!" so yeah that is that.

As someone who has ignorant parents when it came to anime/manga they surprised me Lol, my mom doesn't care and I even got my dad to watch AoT and Monster, ended up loving them.
