Born from pain, i stand
now cast alone in the rain.
Only do i hear the lonely
howl of the wind;
It sings a song that holds
my soul within.
The raindrops fall upon
My face, drowning my sorrow, my disgrace.
I see a shadow, crouched In the distance;
I call out to it, "speak your
Name now, demon of the
Dark."
It turns to me and
Says, "i am your own heart."
"Taken by the dark, i was
Left here to rot, now i
Look upon a ruin, slowly turning
To dust."
I reach to the stars hoping
The clouds will part, but
Sorrow clings, and the shadow
It laughs.
It says; "do not pray for the rain
To stop, for they are my
tears; and forever will they
drop."
And now i stand alone
In the rain, only to hold
onto my sorrow, my pain
now cast alone in the rain.
Only do i hear the lonely
howl of the wind;
It sings a song that holds
my soul within.
The raindrops fall upon
My face, drowning my sorrow, my disgrace.
I see a shadow, crouched In the distance;
