I think it was just a narration, naruto putting himself in the character, using J-mans voice...
So i was looking over the 489 manga pg. 14... something that stood out..
Great Elder Toad (after naruto interrupted him) said "you know what he is!? the boy with power in his eyes" key words there YOU KNOW "WHAT" HE IS?
I think he is speaking of Madara, as with the reaveal of him crapping his pants at the last coffin summon, could very well hint that this is not Madara.
The idea of EMS granting immortality is bogus imo ... SO6P (rinnengan) was the father of the Sharingan and Byokugan as i remember in one of the mangas.. If so than the Rinnengan would have all the powers of both Sharingan and Byokugan ... thus making the Rinnengan user immortal ... was also stated that SO6P was the father of ALL jutsu's so if there was a jutsu to grant immortality, why didnt he use it himself?
So... WHAT is Madara? a master of substitution jutsu? like Oro? waiting for a body powerful enough to regain his powers? someone else hinted at this...
And the Sharingan's connection to the Kyubbi... Did one of their forefathers make a deal with the Kyubbi? selling the souls of the Uchihas therefore cursing them? in return for the Kyubbi's obedience? otherwise the sharingan should be able to control all the tailed beasts...

I'm not so sure Sasuke has EMS, I'm starting to think Kishi has left out showing his new eyes intentionally because he wasn't given Itachi's eye's but now has Nagato's Rinnegan.
Another thing, what if Madara didnt give Sauske Itachi's eyes, for fear of not being able to defend against that EMS... since he had Zetsu record their battle, and knowing the powers Itachi had...
Perhaps he gave him the Rinnengan, after all he did say that he wanted Sauske to join with Gedo Mazo, and if im right only a rinnengan user can do that... then again that would just make sauske more powerful than an EMS right?

Ya that's a huge possibility I mean when the old huge frog Sennin told u know what or who (I don't remember) he is after Naruto's reply. At this point the obvious options are either Sasuke or Madara but what if there is someone stronger than Tobi who is behind all the master plans. If that happens it will get even more intensexd

I was being serious.. I like Uchiha people in the series, Itachi,Sasuke & Tobi are badass but let's face it. Let's suppose those freaks were for real..
Who would want to be friends with Skinny lookin' goth guys with red eyes?
Plus they can cast a genjutsu on you and next thing you know you'll be blowing one of those at will.
Let's not even start the Jinchuuriki talk, make fun of one of those guys and you would start seeing tails and fangs getting out of him.. Not a good sight. Plus, seems like Naruto is the first homosexual Jinchuuriki of the series.

WOw, so many things to say. I guess your mouth is full of words.Hahaha!You are so funny. Don't forget though that Itachi was so soft when it came to Sasuke. He loved him way way too much. I do not believe that he would do something to completely hurt Sasuke.
It is actually sad that he might be forced to fight in a war, something that he really hated. If I remember right, the first Hokage and second Hokage apologised to the third Hokage when they were fighting him which means that they can still sense what is going on, despite having no control of their actions.

To keep the act he put on for Sasuke believable, Itachi had to leave the village and to play the part of the villain by targeting Naruto, thus he complies with Akatsuki's missions. That is his present reality....

He deceives Akatsuki by persistently chasing after Naruto and at the same time he keeps an eye on the attitude of the village.

What to Sasuke is the abruptly arrived "day of revenge", to Itachi is the promised day he had foretold on that tragic night. That night he lost his dreams and his future... Now Itachi has entrusted everything to Sasuke and is able to bid farewell to him with a smile on his face.

He pushes him to his limits, so that he can dig out the snake and seal it eternally with the incorporeal "Sword of Totsuka". At last, he puts an end to Orochimaru's relentless obsession with the Uchiha's body.

Itachi sacrificed himself, and by having his brother witness his death with his own eyes he left him the "Mangekyou Sharingan". "I will always exist with you"?Itachi arranged everything so that even after dying he could still protect Sasuke.
What future is reflected in the heavenly eyes Itachi left him? Hope? Or else...
Itachi gave Naruto some power because he had faith in Naruto. He believed that Naruto will not harm Sasuke unless Sasuke attacks him or Konoha. Itachi loved Konoha, that's the reason for his clan massacre. He couldn't kill his only brother instead he gave Naruto some power to counter Sasuke for the last resort.

I would be friends with jinchuurikis or Uchija if they are good people. You should not judge people on how they look. Plus, I could learn a lot of jutsu from them.
