[Discussion] 1 devil fruit multiple users.

We all know that only one bite is needed for the user to gain the power of a Devil Fruit, after which the Devil Fruit becomes a simple, useless, disgusting fruit.

but, what if two people eats the fruit at the same time after slicing it to multiple pieces? If you can remember, Kaku sliced it to pieces and ate it one by one, so what if two or more people shares those pieces? what will happen?

i forget where but this has been answered by oda. the rest of the fruit becomes useless after one person bites it, i believe.

I think oda already confirmed that the first person to swallow the first piece is going to be the user.

Hm, I believe that's because fruits respawn when a user dies. Chances are, there are infamous users of DFs throughout the ages of One Piece. As one user gains fame with their power, the ability that they use gets associated with the fruit. One that person dies, the fruit is reborn and known about. There's also probably scientists who do experiments with the fruit too. I know there's probably a chapter that explains it better but I can't think of it.

yeah, and maybe they drew a picture of the fruit first before eating it so that when it respawns, they will have a reference..idk.

That's what I imagine. The people who eat the fruit probably also describe the fruit to others. Like the color and type of design. That would contribute to the reference.
