Genjutsu is really all the sharingan has over rinnegan. Don't believe rinnegan has genjutsu; sasuke's eye had tomoe and could use sharingan powers with it (ama/enton). Also madara switched eyes from rinnegan to sharingan to genjutsu Ay I believe.
