If it was Madara's brother Madara would have raped Kabuto... I think it was the 1st Hokage... but from what other's have said... I like the fact that maybe the Sage of Six Path would be awesome...

Its pobably Jariaya...all of the bodies that were summoned are of recent deaths. It can't be the 4th because his ENTIRE soul is already sealed. I doubt it's a summoning of Madara because the real Madara has always been behind the mask. What could be the use of Madara's brother Izuna in the manga at this time, he doesn't have his eyes anymore. Therefore he's virtually useless...really guys its not that hard, just think clearly. I have a strong track record, all of my assumptions have come to light...you can check them out.

Ah, thanks for that. You're right, it seems clear that Orochimaru was trying to summon the Fourth as well on page 19 of chapter 117. Hmmm... Perhaps we still don't fully understand Kabuto's resurrection technique. It's true that Minato sealed himself with the Kyuubi's chakra and in the Death God's belly, but Orochimaru still seemed as though he would have been able to summon him. Does anyone have any ideas as to how?

Well really it's hard to say the third coffin would've been the 4th. i mean, it's the best guess, makes total sense and would consistent with the other two summons. but since we never see who would've been in the third coffin it's hard to state it as a fact. remember that minato also left a part of himself in naruto. we saw that during the fight with pein. he was so skilled that he could sacrifice enough of his soul to seal half the fox and still leave a little bit in his son. that's just mad skills...


and thinking that an ability like that is possible (a soul being divided) then i think it might be possible that madara's soul is split. i believe that tobi is madara but in another body by some other means. i also believe that kabuto summoned the rest of madara's soul and put it in a corpse, which would cause the corpse to take on madara's appearance. that's why madara didn't know how kabuto pulled off the summons and also why kabuto's last summons would greatly effect tobi military power. because people believe tobi is madara, people fear/respect madara. but he's not in his body so he doesn't look like madara. kabuto's summon looks and has the soul of madara. tobi would lose ALL credibility and stature and people wouldn't fear him as madara because there's this other guy running around that looks and acts like the real deal.

Ok, that's makes a lot of sense. I'm going to stick with your theory for now. I still think Madara's body is the most likely candidate for the inhabitant of the coffin.

Why in the world would it be Jiraiya and why would it generate a response from Madara at all? As far as we know, he has know reason to fear Jiraiya. Pain took care of Jiraiya pretty easily after all. The only way Jiraiya's reappearance would be significant in anyway would be as a means to maniupulate Naruto. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be any reason to assume that it's Jiraiya.
