Here is your proof the third coffin didn't even show up, this is reason enough to believe that you can't summon some one eatin by the Shiki Fujin

meaning that he canceled the summoning somehow. it doesnt state that he couldnt be summoned. oro almost had it out.

He may beleive he stopped it, but what did he do, the coffin didn't even appear. Riddle me this, how can you stop something that isn't there to stop?

I don't think a bunch of ninja stars hitting the coffin could stop the summing. That's lame I believe that since the dearth god isn't a natural death and the souls are imprisoned they can't return to the world with a jutsu. Their souls aren't in heaven or hell. Just like Oro shouldn't be summoned since he is in a similar predicament.

He didn't stop it with shuriken, he made hand signs on the page before to keep it from emerging. There's no proof that it was the 4th. Sarutobi knew the jutsu (since it was Tobirama's jutsu) and he didn't want to have to face 3 undead. It was already too late for him to stop the first and second coffin from appearing.

There was definitely a 3rd coffin, who it was isn't certain. It was most likely the 4th Hokage though.

Sarutobi didn't know who was in the third coffin.He just stopped it because he didn't manage to stop the first two.

Imagine Oro would have summoned sarutobi's mom:

Mom: Welcome to a world of PAIN...first stop: Your face(KABOOOOM):whoa:

Yea I would have to say if he said he stopped it then he may not have known who it was going to be but he was the 3rd I think he would have known if he stopped it or it failed on its own since he was familiar with the jutsu.

he's got a point. there's no way of knowing if the 3rd coffin would've been the 4th. the 3rd made hand signals so i think it's safe to say he did something to prevent it.

so the 4th sealed part of himself in naruto right? we saw that during the pain fight... does that mean part of the 4ths soul was in naruto? could oro even have summoned the 4th if part of his soul was sealed in naruto?

I believe that the 4th can be summond but not the 1st 2nd or 3rd because they are completely sealed inside the Reaper but we know the 4th is not because he left some of himself with Naruto & i think thats enough for the Edo Tensei to work but i do not think thats who Kabuto summond because why would Tobi/Madara be afraid of the 4th when the 4th allready said everything he did Tobi/Madara saw right through it so it is not the 4th.

In the manga it has been mentioned a few times that not everything is known about the RDS. I wouldn't be surprised at all if someone can still be summoned. But hopefully it will be shown since Kabuto is currently the only one who could prove if someone sealed with Shiki Fujin is able to be summoned.
