Seeing as I have the time, I might as well post my opinion on this poison matter.
The properties of the Byakugō.
Seeing as the effects of the Byakugō are often misinterpreted/misunderstood, I might as well clarify the most important factors. Shortly put:
- As the seal on her forehead is released, the technique will automatically start splitting cells where splitting is needed, healing any physical injury inflicted on the user almost instantly.
- The technique will continue to work until the user is either out of Chakra, or closes the thread.
- It's unique from most other Medical Techniques due to the fact that it does not heal the cells, but splits them.
The properties of Sasori's poison.
To cover every aspect of this argument, I may as well do the same with Sasori's poison.
- A single scratch is enough for the poison to take effect.
- After being hit, the poison will quickly numb the body of the victim, leaving him/her paralyzed. It may not always be the case, but after Kankurō got hit with it, he passed out quickly afterwards.
- If left alive, the poison will take three days to kill the victim.
- If one does not possess an antidote, the only way shown to counter the poison is to have a Medical Shinobi remove it. However, it should be noted that even when it was removed by the student of probably the greatest Medical Ninja in the NV, an antidote was still needed to completely counter the effects.
Poison vs Byakugō
Now that this has been covered, it's time for the real argument.
The reason Tsunade will be brought down by the poison, is simply because the Byakugō is not fit to counter the effects of the Poison. The poison has been shown to quickly spread through the body of the victim, paralyzing him/her almost instantly, restricting all movement. While the fact whether it does or doesn't completely destroy the cells is debatable, there's not much arguing against the fact that it does paralyze them and render them immobile, and that it will in the end, kill the victim. The Byakugō, as I stated before, doesn't heal the cells, it merely splits the healthy ones in order to replace those that were destroyed.
However, this won't do much here, simply because of the fact that the poison has a continuous effect. What I mean by that is that while the cells will be able to keep her alive for some time, the Byakugō won't do anything against the poison itself. It has already been established just how quickly the poison spreads, which simply means that no matter how many healthy cells will be created, they'll simply be poisoned as well.
Of course, one might argue that the amount of cells that will be poisoned is limited, but while that may be the case, it is also necessary to take into account that.
Don't even attempt to argue the fact that Tsunade will be able to remove the poison herself. Medical techniques take extreme focus and precision in order to be effective, there is no way she'd be able to do something like that when extreme pain and paralysis is a side effect of the poison, a side effect that takes place instantly. The only reason the Byakugō may be able to help here [For a short amount of time] is due to the fact that it happens automatically. However, it will not help her deal with the extreme pain and [Most likely not] the numbness. In any case, even if it may, there's no way Sasori would stand idly by while she heals herself. And even so, this is only assuming that Tsunade would be able to remove enough poison for her to be able to move freely again, a feat which is not viable even for someone of her caliber.
Taking all this into account, she simply won't be able to deal with the poison. She doesn't have the speed or defense to avoid being hit, the Byakugō will only be able to slow the effects, but not counter it, and she won't be able to take care of it herself due to the extreme pain and numbness, along with the fact that Sasori will still be alive and healthy in the meantime. In the end, the Puppet Master will prevail.

- Seeing as a tiny portion of the poison has been stated to be enough to kill a full grown human being, this limit is probably quite large.
- Even if it might in the end stop spreading, [Big if] the fact still stands that she'll still be vulnerable to the attacks of the Satetsu. In the end, she'd probably be too weakened to take on his attacks.

Just my two cents.
