Actually Sasuke could have used the summoning thing to teleport himself. But he didn't do so because of the Summoning Techniques's limitations. Not doing so was a very wise move on Sasuke's part.

If he did use the summoning jutsu, he could only teleport himself to :-

A) The Real NV World.

B) The Snake Summoning World.

In either case, Sasuke would have no way to penetrate Kaguya's six realms. This would have lead to Kaguya eventually killing Naruto and then GG NV.

Sasuke staying in the Desert Dimension ensured that he could come back to where Naruto was eventually and double the pressure on Kaguya.

So Sasuke can blitz right off the bat if they're close, and DMS Kakashi doesn't have the durability RSM Naruto does too tank it.

If both Sasuke & Kakashi have PS up he can teleport out of the way of incoming Kamui Shurikens,

Since Sasuke's PS has the inferior long range attacks compared to Kakashi's he can wait it out, since Kakashi's rikodou chakra will run out fast (1 chapter) also Sasuke is faster. The kamui shurikens hit Kaguya when she was unstable.

After busting Kakashi's PS, Kakashi won't be able to bust Sasuke's leaving him out of options.

Sasuke was trying to get back to Naruto. Not the regular dimension. What would be the point of going back to where the Infinite Tsukuyomi was? He's still away from the fight.

in essence, Kamui and AM works the same way. Had you realized that, you might not have needed to create a baseless wank thread. There is no getting out of either dimension unless the victim has another person's assistance in escaping, whether it be the user or somebody else.

Sasuke was able to summon his Hawk Summoning in one of Kaguya's Six Realm Dimensions, The Lava Realm. This pretty much proves that Sasuke can summon his Snake summon in the Desert Realm, enter it's mouth and de-summon it to escape Kaguya's Six Realms, just like how he used Manda.
