King's haki (Coc) is too pointless...

Its the most hyped ability in op verse yet the only it can do is knock out fodders. Imo the other haki abilities are much more useful. Is taking out fodders that you could already neg without it really the only thing that you can do with it?

Yeah, that's why Kuzan/Sengoku was sweating when Luffy first used it? Even WB was serious about it. If it's only potential is to knock out fodders, they wouldn't have been shitting their pants. I expect the full potential of CoC to be OP af because of it's hype and rarity.

If it is the most pointless haki ability, would Oda really have Luffy specialize in it? We've seen CoC not only knock out fodders but Shanks was causing WB's ship to crack slightly and a clash of CoC caused the sky to split in half between him and WB. ( which BB needed the GGnM to pull off a feat like that. )

We'll see it's use in combat eventually, just have patience.

Did you miss the latest chapter where a clash of Haoshoku sent cracks down a mountain and moved Law's body? Or where it damaged Whitebeard's ship?

I didn't think controlling sea kings is pointless

What does the Q in CoQ stand for?
Lol that has nothing to do with CoC. You're getting mixed up with what Shirahoshi can do.

I think he's probably referring to when Shanks made the pansy creature they called a Sea King dive back down early one. Either that or he's confusing Luffy's ability to talk with the Sea Kings and his Haoshoku.

I had cqc on my mind when i wrote coq instead of coc . Lol i was wondering when someone was going to point that out.

This is all interesting but let's be honest on the real reason why you made this thread.

Shanks, while making a "bit of a threat", was able to shake and slightly damage Whitebeard´s ship with his King´s haki.

Full blown focus will be devastating.

Also, it serves as a tool so that they don´t have to fight every fodder, in other mangas the authors usually use killing intent instead of this. I like Oda´s version more, as it is even more versatile.

That's ancient weapon poseidon's power not coc...

So what exactly did shanks use in part one?

Or that sea bear that luffy put down with a wave of his palm?

All Seakings obey Poseidon and speak to it.

Haki subdues them by nature (depending how strong your Haki is)

Nah, most people with the kings haki are usually bad ass not just from their power or will, but art work too

If it was pointless, then Doflamingo, Luffy, and Chinjao wouldn't be using it on each other. A King's Haki clash kick between Luffy and Doflamingo cracked the entire mountain.

Um, what? Kizaru never had as much of a reaction as Kuzan/Sengoku did. Typical behavior of him.

well , u mentioned kizaru , but kizaru wasn't in that pic , that's why i asked :p.

well okay ^^

I've always found it pointless too. Just looks good for show to be honest.
