It died out because everyone used chakra to kill everyone else, which is not a very constructive beggining to a Philosophy.

The only power up Ashura got were the leadership position of Ninshuu and Hago's seals and they don't do anything besides CT and extra Senjutsu. The chakra cloak, TSB and healing were Ashura's own powers.

I kinda just used the feats shown in the manga and put them together. Hashi had mokuton and healing, Naruto had Kurama and healing, his KCM chakra affected mokuton and eventually his RSM gave him the same healing as mokuton.

Healing was Ashura's ability thanks to mokuton and the chakra cloak was his because he didn't have the Juubi in him nor did he have the bijuus. He got TSB and cloak for the same reason Hago and Hamura got it, their chakra was influenced by the Juubi because their parent was a jinchuuriki.
