Honestly, was Tsunade a better Hokage than Hiruzen?

Never heard of it. But they are on the way to take the action, so yea it was already started. Kill it before it lays it's egg.
Like do you wait til the robber pull the trigger to kill your family, or you kill him first when he has gun in his hand ?

Then she'd be a ****ing idiot. That's a terrible idea. To stomp in on Fugaku, let him know Konoha is onto the rebellion, then try to talk him down.. He was ready to attack Konoha, he wouldn't listen to the Hokage, only feel threatend. You're oversimplifying things.
According to the law, Police not allow to take action until the plan is in motion. They have to prove intent or have reasoning to believe they will take action. So how the uchiha clan have intention when the whole clan was sleeping during that night. It is against the law to do that. If anything, the hidden leaf village should've placed them under arrest. They haven't kill anybody yet.
No he wasn't ready to attack. They was still planning and shit. No action was about to be taken. It was all talk really. In fact, he knew Itachi sided with the village. He just accepted that and spend the last week with Sasuke.

How do you know? How much longer would it have taken? A week? A month? A day? By barging in and announcing they know about the coup, the leadership of Konoha would risk *everything*. A civil war with the Uchiha would ravage Konoha. Fugaku didn't care. The Uchiha didn't care. They didn't think.

Nope. The Old Monkey truly knew what being a Hokage meant and embraced the Will of Fire as his heritage and every children in Konoha as his own.

i would honestly say Tsunade was a much better Hokage than Hiruzen, especially when it came to Naruto. All Hiruzen did was live ive in fear of certain ppl's abilities while Tsunade did what a Kage was supposed to do and made sure those abilities were put to use. I am positively certain that the situation with the Uchiha would've had a much better ending for all involved had Tsunade been the Hokage at that point. Hiruzen's whole problem was that he was never consistent in fulfilling his responsibilities when he needed to, and a lot of ppl ended up paying for it. Hiruzen may have been beloved as a grandfather figure around Konoha, but he was a certified phony.
