The progress and level they reached pales in comparison to the progress Sasuke made with Amaterasu, which is what he had an affinity for, and therefore worked with. Sasuke had Itachi's eyes for way shorter a period than Kakashi and Danzo. Even with his lack of affinity for Tsukuyomi, we don't know how well he is with it now that he's had it for years as well.

Comparing Sasuke's progress with Tsukuyomi and Itachi's eyes up to the war arc to Kakashi's and Danzo's with Kamui and KA makes no sense since they were working at it for years, while Sasuke had the eye for a few days.
