He was destined to be important; savior or not. He was meant to be able to destroy or save the World which require great power and importance either way.

Besides he had life hacks most ninja can not dream or hope to have like being from Uzumaki clan or being Hokage's child (knowingly or not). Being jin is not even that bad if you have an adequate body (he had an adequate body too) considering which lengths people go through in order to be powerful in NV. Having a powerful beast which kicks in anytime his container's life is in danger or simply mad does not sound so bad. There is factor of discrimination but none of the humans i think of have tremendous super powers for the reason they are discriminated against.

The kid could heal a bottle sized hole on his shoulder with kyuubi juice; pro medics could barely healed Neji with a smaller and similar wound. Him and Sasuke would be killed by Haku if it was not for Kyuubj. He tnjed the fox and became a more powerful jin than Bee in 2 days.

There are several reasons why Naruto have not been a genuine and relatable underdog.

I can't tell if everyone in this thread is wanking Naruto or not.

Saying how strong and destined for power he is....

He was an underdog until the chuunin arc.

That's Naruto for ya. Even when he's being discredited, everyone wanks him.

Oh trust me, the guy's posts are enough to create definitions for Fictions, Yarns, Assumptions, and Speculations - his debate tactic as an aggregate. The whole argument always comes full circle for his hilariously baseless claims that are born out of poor comprehension of the manga and image processing in general.

That comparison between Ashura and Naruto was pitifully ironic.

I'm fairly certain your replicating yourself for your view of me. You'e hardly one to talk. Why, look at my sig. It's a perfect example why you have no business saying anyone on this site can't read the manga correctly. Now, kindly shut up with your ad hominem nonsense and stay on topic. It serves no purpose other than to groom your inflated ego.

What's wrong? Soiled your diaper again? Your thread is absurd and wrong. 'Prophecy' has nothing to do with saving or destroying the world. Naruto was always meant to be one of the children. When one already tried to destroy it, the other was bound to become its saviour. Your thread was wrong from the get go.

As for your sig, then some of us read more than manga. Yes, he himself is irrelevant to the plot as he has hardly caused any decent apotheosis within the plot itself. Nor is the framework built around him. He is just one of the devices - one of the many. Alas, you failed here as well in this 'understanding' department - a tool you claim to wield with such dexterity.

I am on-topic. Unless of course, you wanted to put 'for my dumb circle jerk' in the bracket. I misread it in that case.

Ahem, before I wrap up this interview:

Did you feel Naruto, was at any point an underdog in the series?

Do you also feel if Naruto trained in proportion to the ability and perks he possessed?

At the start, yes. At that point, he was just a prankster, looking out of attention. A lonely orphan if you will. When the Team was compiled? Not at all. Given that at major plot turning points - for his character anyway - Kurama stepped in. I still believe that only the start painted him as one. It would have been better had the manga progressed gradually forward from this notion. The whole rush to introduce Kurama's chakra at key moments only destroyed the possibility of him being one more and more.

No, he didn't. In fact, he abused it. Kakashi mentions it explicitly that it's the training only he can manage as Kurama's chakra accelerates the healing process of the body. He had to face little backlash from overusing the 'mass clones' option. Every time he trained for something, the clones cut down the time, unknowingly or knowingly. Not to mention the chakra was from outside his own chakra system.

No further questions. Thank you for your time.
