The whole rush to introduce Kurama's chakra at key moments only destroyed the possibility of him being one more and more.
No, he didn't. In fact, he abused it. Kakashi mentions it explicitly that it's the training only he can manage as Kurama's chakra accelerates the healing process of the body. He had to face little backlash from overusing the 'mass clones' option. Every time he trained for something, the clones cut down the time, unknowingly or knowingly. Not to mention the chakra was from outside his own chakra system.
