We attach ourselves,
To the Earth;
Along her curves,
Which our bodies move.
We enter her naked,
And taste the salt;
Of her wet ocean breath.
She bewilders us,
With desires of her
Round sweet fruits,
And alluring wines.
She caresses us softly,
With her whispers
Which are the wind.
Her love is reflected,
In the most menial things.
We're bathed in her beauty,
And washed in her springs.
Earth keeps us spinning,
And the gravity of her soul,
Keeps us close to her.
And when our bodies expire,
She will cover us;
Beneath the warm blanket of earth,
Embracing us forever.
