How is it that he managed to recover the bodies of sasori and deidara...

Sasori's body is nothing but some flesh in a scroll... the rest being a puppet...

Deidara completely annihilated his own body in that blast... how oh how are they returned?!?!?!

Agree.. It should have only been Deidara,Sasori of the red sands and Kakuzu. Just like it was only Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju the other time excluding Minato Namikaze.​

They killed the 4th Kazekage (Gaara's dead) which was not very powerful.
3rd Kazekage was killed by Sasori of the red sands when Sasori was 15. 3rd Kazekage was the powerful one.​

Well all of the summons can talk just like the summons of the First and Second Hokage but they don't have their characteristics. And of course all the summons don't have the same level of powers as the originals I mean we all saw a old Sarutobi was managing the first two Hokages quite easily even they the summons had wood element tech and water techs of the original Hokages. So that means they are just puppets just like the shapeshifting tech with the summons may be having around 30 or 40% power of the original that's a guess though.
